Best Western Plus Hotel De Capuleti

Staff were extremely friendly, helpful, informative and supportive. Breakfast was lovely and a big thank you to the lady who had my coffee ready without even asking every morning. The desk staff were wonderful too and so welcoming and one traversed the lobby. The hotel was central and very close to the arena just a 5 min walk in the evenings. And all other sights were within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and the housekeeping staff were great at suppling anything if requested. I stayed at this hotel last year while attending opera festival and will be staying there for next years festival.

Everything was perfect! The room and the bathroom were very clean with fresh air without any strong detergent scent (very important for someone who has allergies or is smell sensitive). Very good (not soft) beds. Very good sound isolation (one can only hear voices from the corridor). Extraordinary staff :) The hotel is not in the very center of Verona, but just a few steps, that allows to escape the crowds. Peaceful, near to the police station and the post office with the ATM. A homemade ice-creams cafe place vis-a-vis. There is a little shop just next doors where one can buy local food products (as there's nothing at the airport, it's ideal to buy there food-gifts before travelling abroad). The best extra thing during our stay was someone playing piano in the Sunday evening :) It exceeded our expectations and we will surely come back while on our way thorough Verona :)

Really beautiful hotel. Staff were friendly, gave us a last minute late check out, helped us order taxis and I am sure I'm forgetting other things they helped with. Room was spacious, comfortable bed and the view from the balcony in room 402 was sublime. They organised a surprise birthday treat for me which my friend ordered and it was great. Thanks very much. I will be coming back!

The only thing was the lack of drawer space and storage space. Only a wardrobe with hangers meant we were living out of a suitcase. Some more storage would be the only improvement. Everything else was fabulous.

Our main objective was to see performances at the Arena of Verona and this hotel's location was located very close. The staff went out of their way to ensure that the air-conditioning was maintained at a very low temperature in my room. The daily housekeeping was of a high standard.

The breakfast was average. My toilet did not work well and therefore had not been properly checked before I arrived. The rooms were not well insulated against noise and I could hear the clients in the adjacent rooms until late at night.

Hotel was about a 10 - 15 minute walk from the Arena. Rooms were adequate size and clean. Parking was free on the street in front of the hotel if you could find a space, they gave you a pass to put on your dash. Breakfast was adequate but not a lot of variety. Hotel staff was friendly and provided info as needed.

A little far from the Arena but really didn't see any other hotels that were closer. If you moved your car from the street space you would probably lose it since parking seemed very tight in this area.

The breakfst was well worth the 8 EUR - a selection of meats and cheeses, two fruit juices, fried eggs could be ordered, and excellent coffee. There were also some very tasty cakes available, as well as breakfast cereals and fresh fruit. The service was prompt and friendly. There were free bottles of water available in the "mini-bar" The room had a very good view over the city. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the Piazza Bra and the Arena, from where you can take a bus to the railway station for Eur 1.30

The mini-bar regrigerator was quite small, and it was difficult to put in a bottle of Prosecco without removing all the fittings!

The hotel is on a quiet and safe street but still walkable to most tourist places in Verona. The size of the bedroom is good for two and we had a pretty big patio. Wifi is stable and air-conditioner is good. The spa facility is superb. Once you are booked in, you are the only people there to enjoy the privacy. Considering you have all the facilities by yourself, the price is very good value for money. We enjoyed it so much that we went there twice during our stay. We will definitely stay here again for the spa facility and highly recommend using it while you stay there.

Our bedroom is on the 1st floor and close to the lift so it got noisy when the cleaners were working around in the mornings. Bathroom is very small and the shower had a bit of sewage smell. Not so much that we didn't like but there is no light for the patio (there seems to be a light bulb but we could not find the switch and reception had no idea about it either) so we couldn't really use it once it got dark outside.

Ground floor areas bright and modern. Bar area, lounge seating and breakfast room. Well decorated and pleasant. Room was good size and bed comfortable. Bathroom good but would prefer proper door than sliding. Tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast range and quality very good although would have liked coffee self service.

Distance from centre - about 20-25 minute walk to castle and old part of town but closer to The coliseum.

Good location, close walk to everything but not too close to all noise in the centre of town. Good size room for a single traveller, great bathroom with rain shower. Reasonably clean. Very comfortable room. Some noise from the corridor. But not a party hotel so after a certain time it was fine.

The air conditioning didn't work properly, it couldn't be controlled in the room. I had to contact reception everytime I came back to the room to turn on but they were very helpful everytime I called. Very hot weekend so definitely needed it on when in the room.

The service was very good, particularly all receptionist staff, they were super friendly, helpful, kind.

The logistics of the breakfast is super complex and you get portions that you may not want, the quality is good, indeed good, but you have to select your meals the day before on a piece of paper, the next day is taken to your table or room, but I really prefer the standard buffet approach as most hotels where you can see what you get, choose, and get the right quantity of food, not more, not less.
