This was a fantastic location in Bayeux, staff were so friendly and accommodating, attached restaurant has great breakfast value option and decent for other meals, the room we were given (33?) was huge with sitting area, large bathroom, balcony, quietly located across street, and made for a perfect several night stay! After walking around Bayeux, we highly recommend this hotel for comfort, accessibility to pick up spots for tours, and the town in general.

Honestly, it was one of the better hotels we stayed in compared to the 5 we stayed at around France. (2 in Paris, Amboise, Cassis, Narbonne)

The room was refreshingly large and comfortable, with a large and well appointed bathroom. It was quiet and in a great location for just wandering around Bayeux with a number of restaurants, patisseries and local tourist sites walkable. The associated restaurant was also great quality and reasonably priced and offered a number of locally focused offerings. The offered breakfast was also good with a number of options and lovely fresh pastries.

The Wifi in the room was a little spotty with a weak signal, but was otherwise usable. The restaurant could be quite busy but generally their service seemed to be trying to keep up, it just may have been a large group occupying them.

Excellent breakfast (not included in the price of the room). Quiet spot in the center of town, within a short walk to the primary meeting point for guided tours of the Normandy Beaches. Large room with recently redone bathroom. Nice sitting area.

Screen windows could have been installed so that the windows could be opened during the night to cool off the room (air conditioning did not work very well, and there are mosquitos!) ). The coffee machine should have more unflavored coffee capsules (or clients should be able to choose the capsules they prefer).

Location was easy walk and close proximity to entire town, tour bus pick ups for Normandy & Mont Saint Michele, we had a very large, private, quiet room (junior suite?) w/balcony, updated bath, courtyard, tucked away from street noise, and we’re very comfortable! Great value w/many extras we didn’t receive elsewhere.

Wooden staircase to second level was very creaky / loud for other guests especially coming in late, but no one complained, just part of an old building.

The room was spacious with a large king size bed and plenty of pillows. The location was walkable to everything. The rooms were new with lovely decor.

The check in was very difficult. When we arrived to the location of the hotel there was no one there to check us in. We randomly the bell. We called the number on our confirmation. Everything was in French! We finally noticed in small print on our confirmation email that check in was around the block at a sister hotel. Very confusing! There should be better directions in English!

The property is centrally located in the historic part of town, steps from Rue St Jean for shopping, eating. It is a short walk to the cathedral. We stayed in room 30 in the annex building. Roomy, modern, clean, comfortable beds, and peacefully quiet at night. The hotel offers a good breakfast and has a restaurant open throughout the day. Staff are helpful ~ they carried our luggage to our room. We enjoyed our stay very much!

nothing!

We first stayed here 2 years ago, and this latest visit was every bit as good as I remember - if not better. We had a lovely room in La Maison, which is a separate gated building a short walk from the main hotel reception. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, and featured a balcony. Check-in was friendly and efficient and we were offered help with our luggage on arrival. Breakfast was good (in particular the almond cake). Reception staff were very pleasant. This is a fantastic hotel ideally located for exploring beautiful Bayeux.

Nothing negative at all.

The hotel was in the center of Bayeux, behind the post office. Our very large room was off a courtyard that was protected from the wind and very quiet. We had a large room with a huge bathroom that had recently been redone. Breakfast was really good. There was a laundromat a block away where we did a load of wash. We loved seeing the Bayeux Tapestry and learning more about history around 1066.

Parking was a bit of a pain. We parked right outside the post office but had to pay for 3 hours at a time. Then it was free from noon to 2 and we had to pay for 2 to 7. It was hard to keep track of it. The hotel told us free parking was close by but we couldn’t find it.

We got the superior deluxe double room and it was very nice. It was outside of the main structure in its own private building with a gate. The room was huge and so was the bathroom. All in all though, we had a lovely stay. The receptionist helped carry our luggage to our room. Really nice. But I would think about changing those couple things to make it seamless.

I would say there were a couple of things we didn't like, but most of it we loved. The pillows were really small, there weren't any outlets near the mirrors (which we're only in the bathroom), and because we were on the main floor, we kept feeling like we couldn't open the windows without the possibility of people watching us.

Excellent location in the centre of Bayeux very quiet , great room size, our room had a balcony area which was much appreciated, there is plenty of outdoor areas around building to relax also extremely clean.

The only disadvantage for some would be lack of actual hotel parking, however plenty of parking around the area but note , paid parking between certain hours.
