Cleopatra Luxury Resort Sharm El Sheikh

Splendid view from the room balcony, out room was upgraded on arrival. Special shout out for the staff that will go above and beyond to make you feel relaxed and valued. The staff is always kind, smiling and polite and they make sure you have a pleasant stay. Spacious room and shower room with everything you might need. Towels and beach towel changed everyday. Excellent size pools. We enjoyed the drinks especially the local beer. Very clean and well maintained outside area. Excellent beach, with clear water (but make sure you'll bring your water shoes).

The shower/bathroom water temperature was not appropiate for the weather, even on the highest temperature level the water was roughly lukeworm. Maybe when is 40 degrees C outside this is the right water temperature for showering but when is just 21 degrees C is not good enough for us.

Pleasant with very nice corals if you like diving/swimming. Food is of good quality and chefs are nice. Cleaning is good and pleasant. Overall very relaxing place with helpful and nice staff. Nobody begs tips from you and are professionals. Pictures that you see here are what you get. Maybe first or second time in my life everything actually was how it looked. Clean, nothing broken, everything as good as in pictures. I’d even say they didn’t show nature as beautifully in pictures as it were there. Postive or negative depending on you is the amount of Russian spoken. For me the best/funniest animations were more aimed Russians and worst ones were aimed at English (country)

Animators can be bit too active trying to get you to participate. Sometimes you want to just relax and not explain why you don’t want to participate. Alcohol isn’t really good, I could bring myself to drink wine and beer, everything else was more or less ethanol with sugar. Some might find it kind of repetive as maybe 20-30% of food change and still with minor changes. For 1 week I found it good and value for money but my wife got bored after 3 days.

The resort is very beautiful, there are all kind of animations and spectacles, the staff is very nice and kind, specially the Head desk manager Eslam, and Master chef Bakr and the others. They will try to accomplish any your wish. Strongly recommend

Only thing that I didn’t like and it’s NOT the fault of the resort, that official exchange rate everywhere for an Egyptian pound is half price, than than on the street or boutiques, and it will cost you double if you pay by the card because they calculate in that Egyptian pound that is 32 which half of what you’ll get on the street. Recommend to bring lot of cash and before you need it, change it on the street in pounds and pay with it, like this you will pay about 40/50% less.

The staff were absolutely incredible! They bent over backwards for us! On arrival, the head chef, restaurant manager and sous chef came to see us at reception to go over our dietary requirements. They took such amazing care of us. We were spoilt! The hotel is very clean! They are always cleaning! The rooms were beautiful! The food choices were amazing! Many of the beaches in Nambq bay are rocky to get to the water but at Cleopatra, it is a lovely Sandy beach. We never go back to the same place twice, but we are desperate to return next year.

There are reps in the hotel that try to sell you trips and taxis. They will try to overcharge you 3 times the price. We recommend booking trips on booking.com and to find a taxi driver outside of the hotel. They all communicate via WhatsApp, so we just messaged our taxi driver whenever we wanted to head out.

The review I'm most happy to post in my entire life. I spent 9 fantastic and relaxing days (too few) in this wonderful resort, perfect in every way! The cleanliness and attention of all the staff are incredible starting from Ali our cleaning man (room 3007) followed but no less Ani and Omar very nice and also super attentive, Ahmed and the second pool bartender with their super colorful cocktails and their reading what you want before ordering it and a real thank you goes to Ebrahim from the very kind Pilli Pilli! The diving center in the hotel is exceptional and looks after you very well (we also had a car problem and they moved the excursion without even asking, really super). A super thank you also goes to Karim, Seven7 (uh uh! That's not his name but for me that's his name 😉) and Eva from the entertainment staff. I don't want to forget Reda and Romani from the Market (excellent food) always kind and smiling. Thanks to all the staff in general and to those who are on stage during the wonderful evenings that make this resort a dream!

2 small things to improve: - the food of the à la carte restaurants (appreciated the mixed fry of the Italian and the main fish dish of the sea for the rest no comment); -Wi-Fi

Anything I say is less. First trip to Sharm and what a memorable stay with Cleopatra. The most luxurious I have ever felt on any of my trips. The sea view rooms were jaw dropping, size, bed comfort was top notch. Staff were amazing. Food service was excellent. Amazing location, only 7 minutes from the airport. Overall, if you are looking to get well worth your money this is your place. I cannot wait to come back and stay here again.

Main courses everyday were mostly similar and average taste wise. The staff did scam us once here, we wanted to get a taxi to Old Town but they said there is no taxis and can only be booked through hotel for which they charged us £60 for a round trip to the bazaar and farsha cafe and back. When we stepped outside of the resort there were taxis everywhere and 1/3 of the price. Please be careful with this. I did not appreciate being lied too and tricked into this scam. Especially as it was our first time there and we asked the hotel for help they just thought its best for them to make money out of it.

First of all I would like to thank to all the staff at the hotel for a delightful stay, most importantly to Mr.Emad Nabil for being so friendly, caring and smiling. We felt so lucky to meet him. Also we would like to thank the hotel manager to set a team so successful. I am going to tell all the things about the hotel below. Location: it wasn’t far from airport if you have a late flight it is a pro. Food: my wife is a vegetarian and most of the time avoiding all kind of animal and unhealthy products. There were fresh, boiled or roasted vegetables on every meal. Also there were so many choices of salads, dressings, some of their traditional food like houmus and babaganoush. Those two were my wife’s favorite. You could definitely find healthy vegan food here. There are a wide selection for meat eaters either. Sea: it was perfect, clear water with corals but if there is a wind you may not enter the sea from dock. You can enjoy the shallow part anyway, it is like 50 meters until it’s deep and there were fish swimming there either. Staff: all the staff in the hotel was really friendly, smiling. Also I would like to thank to Antonio, he was our house keeper. Whenever we need something he was there. Also lastly I would like to add that the hotel was extremely clean, you could always see the maintanance crew. We stayed at the room 4005. Hope to see you again really really soon:)

Atmosphere: I’m from Ukraine and I felt the warmest welcome in this hotel! All the staff came up to me and showed support for my country, they put Ukrainian music to show respect, and I really appreciate that! People: The majority of tourists are from Great Britain, Belgium, Italy and other European countries, also from Kazakhstan. There aren’t many russian tourists which is lovely! I enjoyed communicating with different people and I made a lot of friends. Staff: Very polite, friendly, very professional, they remember people’s names and I don’t know how they do that! What is important- they don’t look stressed or tired, and it creates a feeling that they are treated very well by the chief management. Big greetings to Emad Hamdy and Abanuob Letfy. Animation: The animation team is very motivating and fun. I was very happy to see you too team members from Ukraine: Olya and Anna. And of course I’m sending my big respect to Sam, Islam, Mo, and others. We did a lot of different activities like: stretching, yoga, water aerobics, volleyball, water polo, darts and other. Food: The food was good, better then in most hotels. Aida, the lady who makes amazing Egyptian bread outside during dinner is a darling. There are a lot of choices of food for picky eaters, gluten/ lactose free, vegetarians. Room: Absolutely wonderful! We had the best view on the infinity pool and the sea. It was super spacious, clean and looked very modern! In fact, it’s probably the best room I’ve stayed in Egypt! Always clean and they refill the shampoos and stuff. Entertainment: The evening shows were very entertaining. If fact, I won the contest “Miss hotel Cleopatra” which was a lot of fun. There also are such things as dance shows, fire shows and singing (I liked the Spanish singer more). Sea: It dried out near the beach but we still could go swimming in the deeper area. Saber, who works there, always keeps us updated on the temperature of the water.

Staff very helpful and friendly, food is generally good in the main restaurant. In the so called “A la carte” it is quite blend and tasteless. we tried the seafood restaurant, that was waste of time.

location with airplane noise, pools were super cold, there was only one heated but it was always noisy around it with daily activities. Beach not very swimming friendly. many things that should be part in All inclusive package in a hotel with this price range are not. ex. fresh juice for breakfast, they charge you for that. Proper coffee that is not made by machine, they charge your for that too. Wifi is useless, they can ofcourse give you a better one for extra charge.

Cleopatra is absolutely beautiful. Contains everything you would want in a resort. Staff was amazing as well and very attentive. They try their very best to make sure you are having a good time. It was our first time in Egypt and they made it very special. Couldnt have chosen a better place to go. Would definitely recommend.

The only thing that could’ve been better was to keep the music on by the pool as they would only switch it on only for a few hours during the day. This was not a big issue for me personally but cant think of anything else!
