Great Serve yourself brekky in buffet near reception (added cost or included in some nightly rates) ; Very comfy bed & pillow - but U need 2 x pillows 2 raise your head - Would have had 2 ask 4 2 x additional pillows if a couple ; Convenient location with service station shop & fast food opposite - & v close 2 City buses bus stop ; polite & friendly service from staff - !! ; Plenty of teas, coffees & welcome UHT milk provided 4 that needed arrival cuppa - !!!

There was a malodorous sensation coming from the sewage plumbing system in the bathroom - not due 2 lack of cleaning as the bathroom was spotlessly clean & cleaned ... Maybe the slightly older properties sewerage plumbing needs a look at or upgrade ... or was it the location close 2 the Cross River Clem 7 Traffic tunnel under or near the property causing the probs - ?? ; Cold 1 night as the limited swing window came open 1 night ... maybe it was me not latching properly rather than the window latch maintenance that was @ fault there - !!! ... but it gave me a scare ... had some1 broken in2 the room via the window whilst I was asleep- ?? !! ??

The IBIS rooms are always small and the bathroom / toilet is the smallest in probably any motel chain. Extensive renovations were taking place, but they were in no way intrusive. It is an environment conducive to getting out and about while staying in Brisbane. There is a really good mini market across the road, and Dominoes deliver pizza.

It can be a bit tricky to get onto the right side of the road for free parking, when coming from the showground or Brisbane CBD.

Staff and breakfast were wonderful. Room was clean and beds were comfortable

Odd value for the money. Space, fixtures, layout, and pricing would be appropriate for Japan. Weird for a country with space like Australia. For this price in Canada you would get two queen beds, an LDTV with satellite service, a full bathroom with a shower in tub and vanity with a sink and countertop, microwave, minfridge, desk and chair, and a lounging chair. But this is isn't Canada, so nevermind.

Just stayed one night but I thought it was good value for money. Had queen room which is ok in size. Bed was very comforting. Bathroom small but did the job. My room faced main road so was a bit noisy but not enough to keep me awake, I slept well. Good blackout curtain. Excellent location. McDonald’s and service station across the road but you have to walk about 200 metres up road for lights crossing. Tv had basic channels which was enough. I would stay here again for price, location and cleanliness.

It was just a place to sleep for us while we stayed in brisbane overnight to see friends so we weren’t there much except to sleep but it’s a great option if you just need a place to stay it was clean and tidy and quite. The man on the front desk was very nice and helpful to us, thank you!

There’s no PowerPoints in the bathroom (being picky)

The property is located at one of Brisbane's busiest roads a stone's throw from Queensland's biggest hospital, traffic noise can be an issue. My room was the quietest of the rooms there that I have ever stayed in. To not hear ambulance sirens was an added bonus as my wife was travelling with me and she works at another of Queensland's major hospital. Bliss.

The location of the hotel was amazing - we had an event at the Showgrounds and we were amazed that we could get a place on a low budget that was within walking distance!

The rooms were a tad bit small, even for just two people to a room but we were happy considering the low price - however the shower was a bit uncomfortable due to its small size

The staff where amazing. Very helpful. The bed was good too. Had toppers so it was soft to sleep on. Window shade blocked all light. Very happy

They place is dated and needs some updating to the bathroom and some new paint or floors wouldn't be bad either. The main area is amazing bright and new. The rooms are a little old and tired

Easy, efficient, clean.

Small thing - Kettle provided but tap in bathroom was too close to basin to be able to fill it - hopefully something Ibis can look at! Space a bit cramped but that was to be expected really for the price.

sufficient for a short stay. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. I slept really well. complimentary parking in the city goes a long way too.

Breakfast would be great if it was from 7am. We had to leave just before 7.30 when breakfast opened.
