Ovolo The Valley Brisbane

Everything was amazing - funky, comfy and affordable. The room was huge. The bed was massive and comfortable. We loved the freebies. Most of all, it was the staff. A special mention to Daniel and Bryson. Their friendly and professional service was exceptional and we would not consider staying anywhere else. Also, Daniel is a style champion ! It’s refreshing to go to a hotel and take in fun vibes with staff to match and all the mod cons. Close to great bars and cafes and restaurants

Connecting to the tv. You had to have your own set up ie Netflix etc. Apple TV wouldn’t work.

very comfortable, we stayed in a spa suite. The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. they really make your stay. the pool area on the roof is great and the small gym adequate for our stay, but can’t really fit more than one or two guests. we loved the free mini bar, and snacks. the restaurant and bar were open through the public holidays, with a great selection of food and drinks. nice little touches like mulled wine chocolates and a hand written card on Xmas, just make your day.

not much to not like. one small improvement could be in ensuring soft drinks are topped up in the mini bar and not just the alcohol, but otherwise no complaints.

Staff were wonderful. Check in and check out were quick. The free mini bar was a pleasant surprise. It was nice to go to a hotel that doesn't charge a fee for every single facet of service. The sauna really cooks and the location was convenient.

I should preface that we were here over mother's day, so I'm presuming staffing levels weren't at an optimum. The housekeeping was not great. We were only staying two nights so it wasn't a big deal. But our room wasn't turned down after we left in the morning and returned after lunch time. We then went to the pool deck where we sat in the sauna and hung out before returning to our room maybe 2 hours later and it still hadn't been turned down. We had rubbish from our meals the night before that began to smell. In the end we gave up on the housekeeping and just left the bin outside our room, which was emptied shortly after. I should point out that when we requested fresh towels, that they were brought up within minutes.

I want to come back here, just because the staff were wonderful. Actually it was the manager at reception who was so wonderful and helpful. Nothing was a trouble and made me feel like I was the only customer in the whole building. There are other awesome, uncommon conveniences about this place, like the FREE mini bar , ample FREE parking (vallet costs money) and there were HEAPS of places in the same complex that were under 60 seconds walking distance to eat (Burgers, Mexican, Japanese, Dessert Bar I went to) or do, like a nail salon, hair salon, clothing retail and and a convenience store. But honestly, the staff are the stand out feature of this establishment.

everything! styling, ethos, food, staff, coffee, Alexa speaker, service, work spaces, tech in work spaces, luxe chill bar spaces, decor, qr for food, goodie bag, mini bar free!, curtains, breakfast included in room rate, style of breakfast, treat station😍location to all the shops and food and coffee walkable. room size and layout wonderful- extra space and bed doesn’t feel like it’s in the bathroom, velvet💜💜💜, all super lovely staff an helpful on every level, kitchen, barista, venue bookings, housekeeping, front of house and as depicted online. i am encourage now to stay at other places with Ovolo. thank you I will be back for holidays and business 🙌🏼

add a few more options to the rooms service qr to cater for all moods :) I had the Wong Kar Wai vibe from the hotel so needed some Hong Kong type foods 😊

This was our second stay at Ovolo in the valley. We arrived a little early and we’re able to go straight to our room. The rooms are great and a big bonus is the free mini bar! Also super comfy beds and pillows. 24/7 reception is so convenient and staff are very helpful. I accidentally forgot a pair of earrings and housekeeping had found them and the hotel organised to get them back to me. Would recommend and will be staying again!

We were upgraded to a larger room when booking and didn’t realise that not all rooms have baths.

Pretty good location, but between 2 busy highways so needed to be careful when out walking. But lots of easting and shopping options just in the same complex. Large room, comfy bed and pillows.

While they advertised the mini bar would be replenished each day this was only partial. I used it for my own food so perhaps they couldn't figure out what was used/not used but it wouldn't have taken much to do so. Also, tended to have groups roll in late at night who then made a lot of noise going from room to room.

It was our first time staying at an Ovolo Hotel and we were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. The location, the hotel interior design, staff and facilities were great! Having a complimentary mini bar and the bag of goodies were a very nice touch, well done! A shame we only stayed the weekend, but we would definitely go back and would highly recommend the property.

We were welcomed with a personalised card for our anniversary and the room was done beautifully, we also enjoyed the free mini bar and a bottle of sparkling wine! awesome experience throughout! the joining restaurant Zazata was a culinary experience, we loved every bite. The breakfast included has been amazing too! highly recommend the stay at Ovolo and dining at Zazata!

Liked the decor, the feel, the location, the complimentary mini bar, the complementary lollie bar, the staff, the pool the sauna. Really enjoyed having the 'Alexa' in the room. The chaise lounge and the comfortable chairs. The good quality tea was soo good as well. the attention to these details was really appreciated.

The beds were a bit too fluffy. got a slight feeling of being claustrophobic when sleeping. The small blue light (stanby light" on the light switch on the headboard was very annoying when trying to sleep.
