Loved our stay at the Kennigo Hotel, the location was perfect for exploring Brisbane. The bed was very comfortable and there was velcro on the walls to stick the curtains to which meant the room stayed dark in the morning and we had the best nights sleep. Big modern bathroom, fantastic shower. All of the staff were very pleasant and the hotel facilitated a late checkout which was very much appreciated. Great value for money.

There were a few things that let the room down that could be easily fixed - there was a hole in the wall and the net curtain was ripped as shown in the photos. This oversight is a pity because it takes away from the luxurious feeling of the room.

The best thing about this prooerty was the food, our breakfast was included in our stay, and was really tasty good quality food, that set us up for the day.

Our room was very small , and the patio area was below ground level and felt very strange so went unused. We had a problem with our safety deposit box, it would not accept the pin number, we couldnt get into it, and nobody could help us , then the next morning the lady on reception came and opened it with a key, she could have done that the night before, and saved us the worry that somebody had emptied the safety deposit box

The hotel itself was absolutely fine. Would recommend to stay at the hotel itself.

My only minus point was dealing with reception on arrival. It was my understanding that the credit card used on the website had already been paid, but it apparently was only used as a hold. As I had just come out of hospital, it was a pain to have to use my own card than arguing with the receptionist to just use the card on the booking. She didn't really explain it clearly and it was the only thing to mar the experience but because it happened upon check in, it was a bit annoying. Bathroom drainage flooded all over the tiles after shower, just a design fault but no smell or anything.

clean, tidy, bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice and large with the shower.

the side socket where a USB port wasn’t working, light switches here also were not working and thus could be a safety hazard. Having a portable charger with a USB connection this caused delays in my check out and I had to Contact reception. But the phone wasn’t working either so I had to use my mobile to call. Emma was lovely and came up with a doc charger and saw the issues I had and assisted very well. She noted what was wrong and advised she would let Maintenance be aware of them to be fixed.

The location was really close to the music hall for a concert, the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, the coffee from the cafe in the lobby in the morning was yummy, the shower was really good and the on-site parking was nicely accessible

I paid a little extra to have a little patio but I couldn’t use it much during the nighttime as it was raining and there was no roofing so the rain flooded it and was hitting the glass door/windows, cobwebs behind the main door and my room was a little squishy with the queen bed to get around it but I knew that from the photos

I stay here every time I go to Brisbane for work. It is clean, nice and the location is good to go for a run or to any of the restaurants around.

There is not much I do not like. This time however, I was surprised to find that the milk in the mini bar was opened, which makes me believe that it had not been checked or changed by HSK. In fairness it did not look opened at first sight. I also had to request the kettle because it seemed that it had been removed from the room at some stage.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The middle aged man working on the front desk was very courteous. The rooms were very modern. The location of the hotel was very good.

The rooms smelled a little bit strange when we first checked in. Once we turned on the AC the smell went away. There was soap to wash our hands at the bathroom sink. So we had to use the body wash from the shower to wash our hands. The room was quite small. There were no seats so you had to sit on the bed.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, luggage storage, helpful staff and a good room service meal.

The first staff member I spoke to when I arrived was not so welcoming as I arrived extremely early and he seemed surprised and not ready for me. He could have been more welcoming and offered the luggage storage without me having ask for it. I had just got off a long haul international flight and just needed to store my luggage until my room was ready. all other staff after that were great.

Location. Easy access to public transport and convenience shops and restaurants.

Was charged incorrectly for the room and had to pay an additional sum on checkout. $6 charged to my account without explanation after checkout. Presumably for items consumed that were in the room that from my experience are normally free: 2 small bottles of water and 2 sachets of chocolate power to make a drink that were with the tea and coffee. On the expensive side for what it was.

Enjoyed our two nights at the Kennigo Hotel before our international departure. Loved how close to The Valley it was - what a fab location. Just a short 10-15 minute walk and we had an abundance of restaurants to choose from. Loads to explore nearby and we didn't have to worry with public transport or parking. The room itself was clean and comfortable. There was a well stocked mini bar and tea/coffee and wine glasses were provided too. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Couldn't really fault our time at the Kennigo. Would definitely stay there again.
