Mantra Terrace Hotel

Convenient location; close to Central station. Stylish, modern decor.

Room very small, with no room to place suitcase down, or to sit away from bed.

The hotel is located close to the city, The size of the room is right, it is very clean. It was surprizing that we got a room with a bathroom for disabled people, which ment it was extreamly big. My husband loved it, enough place, he could sit down on a bench during the shower. I myself did not like it, because it subjectively caused me very uncomfortable feelings.

The biggest problem was that on the first floor in this room the window could not be opened at all, and there was quite a big humid in the room, the water was running down on the glass. The place next to the bed at the window was very narrow.

Renovated room and minimalist design. Very pretty! I would like to commend the receptionists that gave great service and were really friendly. I chose the property as it was located right behind Brisbane Central - convenient for getting to and fro the airport and also within walking distance to the shopping district.

It’s not really a complaint but do be aware that it’s a bit of an uphill walk to get to the property.

Very good location - 4 blocks from the city. Quiet but yet central. Freshly renovated, all new furniture etc. Comfy bed, I like the fresh are and balcony. All of this is why I keep coming back.

The rooms are small but cozy. The bed base had a surround that juts out but cannot be seen due to the sheets, I kept hitting this :( Given the small room size the base is a liability. The desk chair was too high to fit under the desk, so it stuck out into the room - again a problem in a small room.

Hidden gem for a work trip, it's very accessible with a short walk to Eagle St, Queen St or the Valley. Quiet street with wonderful staff that are there 24/7. Oh and great price.

Quilt cover was missing, so that felt a little icky. But the staff were quick to address any concerns. Would be nice if the place had a gym and could do something to make the doors close quietly, else wake up to everyone coming and going up and down the hall.

the room is on the corner so a lot of fixtures/draws weren’t easy to access, lamp wasn’t working. room was very muggy/humid and had poor ventilation due to not having any windows.

Fantastic, friendly staff who were knowledgeable about local area and always willing to assist. I was caught in torrential rain while walking back to the hotel and the lovely female receptionist saw me from a distance and ran out with an umbrella. She then hurried the get towels for be running dry off. That kind of thoughtful gesture is the icing on the cake. great value for money overall

Great room, only stayed one night so it was everything I needed. Staff is great (entry through a small bar/cafe), location is not the best. Regardless of the place which was great value for money, if I had a longer stay in the city I would move to a place in a better location

Location

The room was compact but comfortable. Good use of space, The TV had four or five streaming services. 5-minute walk from Central station.

The powerpoints at the desk were a little too high for my phone charger. View from bedroom was average, overlooking a car park.

The rooms and vibe is really nice, looks like it is recently updated. Rooms were also bigger than expected. Coffee at the bar is really good!

The room smelled a bit mouldy (also read it in other reviews) and the view from the window of our room was a brick wall (we didn’t mind but good to know).
