The rooms are small but very comfortable and clean, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful, and as flexible as possible to meet my needs. This is a nice hotel in a good location for nightlife if you enjoy clubbing and Kings Cross style night entertainment. It is also close to a train station and lots of places to eat. There is ample street parking but that is often full. The hotel offers limited undercover parking for guests for a cheap price, but it has to be booked in advance. Don't leave it until your arrival or there probably won't be any spaces left. Your car will also have to be removed at the time of check out so if you are not leaving until later in the day then you'll have to find somewhere else to park your car.
The venue may not be convenient for anyone wanting to be closer to the main tourist attractions like Southbank or the Arts Centre or museums. They are all too far away to walk for most people. That said, there is a train station only a couple of blocks away. The location is more suited for younger people who enjoy clubbing, tattoo parlours, etc. but it does not feel like an unsafe area. I was quite comfortable walking the streets at nice because it is quite a bustling, vibrant neighbourhood.

Great spot near the Valley so was able to enjoy the nightlife and walk back easily. Theroom was small but bed was super comfortable and good to have different lighting. Awesome blackout curtains. Staff were super friendly and informative. There is a bar and eatery in the lobby but didnt use it. there is a carpark as well but make sure you book as part of your stay as there are limited spaces.
This is a no smoking building which is fine but needs to be promoted as such. I am a social smoker so can take it or leave it but after a few drinks, would have liked the option to sit on the balcony and watch the world go past while having a rare ciggie. I appreciate the environmental impacts of toiletries etc but no soap dispensar in the shower was weird, especially if there is shampoo and conditioner.

Spacious room at the end of the main level. Large windows to let in natural light and blinds and a sheer to help ensure privacy. Bed was on the sparse side - you can tell it isn't an expensive mattress, but I slept fine nonetheless and it was all in good repair. Bathroom was roomy, comfortable and had a lovely shower. I also made use of the complimentary juice, milk cereal and granola bars in the room. Staff was always welcoming and friendly. The breakfast, although not included, was delicious and the chef had offered to customize if desired. Nice cappuccino from the front desk (for a cost). Was able to grab a few beers in the evening at the bar. Like many things in Australia - stuff closes up early. Even in the city you're hard pressed to find sit down meal service in a restaurant after 10 PM. However, I was able to use Uber Eats to get what I needed and there was a nearby chemist/pharmacy which was helpful to pick up some sunblock and bandages I needed. This is a small hotel that isn't part of a large chain and is staffed by a core group of people. I happen to really like that - it makes for a more engaging and unique experience. But you do lose some of those 'big chain' experiences like premium beds and maybe other traditional items. However, I felt the price was fair and it was a good value with a good location. I would happily stay again.

This is my second stay here. Booked in for Girls night out with my sister. we had the King Exec Suite. Staff were fabulous. Room was excellent. A great central location for getting out and about in Brisbane City. Noise minimal and our room faced a major road. Almost wished we’d had one more day!
Nothing really. Parking is limited and I was made aware of this at time of booking so made sure I requested a park at that time. I’d advise anyone needing to park to secure a spot at time of booking. I would only recommend an additional mirror in the rooms for makeup and getting ready if someone is in bathroom. that’s all!

Top-notch location, friendly & helpful staff, comfy room, and on-site parking. This was a very quick work trip so unfortunately we didn't have much time to check out any of the facilities, but the room was everything we needed.
If I had to be really picky, the restaurant below our balcony window was super loud & the smoke from the kitchen flowed directly into our room. Fortunately, it smelled delicious & wasn't a big deal. Some of the room furniture was a little tired with some cigarette burns on the arms of the fancy chair. Other than these minor details, it was perfect.

Stayed on level 3, big room which was very comfortable. A little dated but over all very good. Location was great, heaps of restaurants near by and very easy to get around the CBD from here.
Not a didn't like as such but I didn't use any of the restaurants which are listed by the hotel, plenty of better looking places around to eat and drink in my opinion.

This hotel was conveniently located for an event in Fortitude Valley. Was also easy enough to get to Suncorp Stadium from here. The staff were friendly.
If you're a coffee drinker, skip the instant available in the room - it tastes awful. The cleaning staff are also quite eager to get you out of the room on check out day. They knocked four times that morning to ask if we'd left yet, surely this can be synced up with the check out process like other hotels. It's also the only hotel I've stayed in which doesn't provide a do not disturb sign.

Staff were super friendly and accomodating, our flight landed around 11am and they were able to check us into an available room to get ready for an event which started before check in time, which was so helpful!! Also comfy beds, quiet rooms but very close to train and bus and James St

Good value accomodation, and a great location walking distance to the night life in The Valley. Friendly staff, and easy check-in. Comfortable room, clean and well presented large bed, which was very comfortable.
The Lighting in the bathroom could be better, the down lights are in the wrong place, which makes the mirror very badly lit when trying to apply makeup.

The service we recieved from Matt at both check-in and out was exceptional! Parking was easy and the location was great for our event.
Sadly, the room wasnt exactly clean (but we were running too late and were too tired to 'complain'). Bins weren't emptied from the previous ginger beer loving guests and there were a couple of tiny little black bugs chillin on the bed.
