Quest Kelvin Grove

Friendly and helpful staff, very clean and well equipped studio room, comfortable bed, quiet and efficient air conditioning. Clean bathroom with great shower and extraction fan. Provided complimentary bottled water (2) and a Nespresso machine and 2 coffee pods and 2 little chocolates (which was a nice gesture). Also under cover secure parking on site (you need to book - and is extra - but is well worth the convenience).

It would have been nice to have some sort of food and alcohol beverage availability on site - or more guidance on “ordering in” for those of us unfamiliar with the process when in accommodation. However, I saved money by taking some yummy leftovers to heat up in the microwave for dinner - next time I will remember to add a bottle of wine (my bad). There are also many lovely eateries and bars very close by. But as I was on my own I wanted to eat and have a glass of wine in my lovely room. As my son said when I mentioned this to him - “Uber Eats Mum - you need to get with the times” :)

Convenient to city and surrounds. Swimming pool available but didn't use. Great breakfast even though we had to go to the local cafe. The cafe was awesome with friendly people who got to know our order.

Had a small ant problem, which wasn't the motels fault. They had ant baits everywhere. Parking a bit expensive and limited places to park. Coffee machine didn't heat up.

The rooms were nicely arranged and they were very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our requests. My silly request for bear towels was also entertained! We were pleasantly surprise to find them on our beds :)

The breakfast options could be better. The guide to the limited parking for Guests' cars could be improved as sometimes it was quite difficult for us to find a lot.

The central location is amazing, the facilities were great, nice and quiet, staff was amazing. We enjoyed the little hand written card as well!

The single beds were a bit lumpy and on wheels so moved around a lot. The sheets are not long enough to fit the bed so there is multiple sheets that get messed up during the night.

The hotel is only a few minutes drive from the CBD. Down the street, there are restaurants , supermarket and small shops which is very convenient. Room is spacious and comfy bed.

As I stayed over the Easter holiday/weekend, there was no cleaning service provided, which was a bit frustrating was I stayed for 5 days in the property. Although the receptionist was friendly and provided all amenities when required, staying without the room cleaning service for 5 days was bit disappointed.

Staff were awesome so friendly and lovely! Room was so big!! And there was tons of space! I requested twin beds in each room and everything was perfect when we got there. Also got little welcome chocolates and water! Really great value for money!

The rooms were large and spacious, great balcony with table and chairs, was quieter than expected as there were lots of apartment buildings in the area. Taxi button available in the foyer and when we pressed it the taxi was there within a few minutes.

there were small bugs on the kitchen table not sure what they were, they were the same colour as the table. Also a portable ozone air purifier was left on in the room when we arrived which was a bit of a concern. Particularly when the other parties we were travelling with didn't have them in their rooms. Shower pressure was terrible which was a real shame.

GOOD ROOM COMFY BED, GOOD SECURITY, FABULOUS STAFF VERY HELPFUL, PROVIDED ME WITH A SLOT FOR MY BIKE, VERY MUCH APPRECIATED

ONLY THE INABILITY TO GET FRESH AIR INTO THE ROOM? THE A/C UNIT COULD NOT GET ENOUGH INTO THE ROOM AND FAILED TO GET COOL ENOUGH?

The room facilities were fantastic! Definitely exceeded expectations. The breakfast vouchers were convenient! The rooms were very spacious and well laid out.

The cost for parking was a bit too expensive.

Close to local facilities, easy to get on public transport. Close to university so plenty of cafes, restaurants open to use. Very green area which was clean and quiet.
