The location of a hotel is great but most of all it is so nicely eqiped, lively and a combination of old and new that it is really something special. I even felt no need to add a bucket of freshly picked roses in a room as I usually do :) Pefect, would stay again and again and again (and the cleaning lady Anita even alowed me to briefly look how some other rooms are eqiped and designed, they all are great - and Anita was so kind and helpful). Plus: the breakfast with all the variety of vegetarian and vegan food, fresh fruit, small portions of already made muesli and humus ... very nice!

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Landhaus Hotel in Bern, and we absolutely loved it. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with a romantic vibe that added to the overall charm of the hotel. The bed was comfortable, and we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. We enjoyed a delicious spread of freshly baked bread, croissants, fruit, cheese, and yogurt, among other tasty treats. The breakfast was the perfect start to our day, and we appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation and quality of the food. The owners of the hotel were extremely kind and accommodating, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience. Their recommendations for local restaurants and attractions were spot-on and greatly enhanced our stay in Bern. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the Landhaus Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, romantic getaway in Bern. We can't wait to go back!

Loved the beautiful decorations and interiors of the Hotel. The location was perfect with the amazing river and bridges into Bern old town super accessible. Patrick made our stay absolutely fabulous, best host, very warm and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and the bed was a great thing to come back to after a big day out. The restaurant downstairs was great with the continental breakfast and even better for dinner if you didn't feel like leaving the hotel. .

Everything was perfect, I feel like new photos would do the hotel that much more justice.

Breakfast was good - lots of options. Enjoyed the small salon for coffee/tea. Liked the location near the Barenpark/old town, river, and Rose garden. Shared bathroom was small but clean and it didn't seem like anyone else was using it during our stay.

Room was right over the restaurant patio area and noise/food/smoke smells made it so we couldn't keep the window open (we had warm weather during our stay). Floors are super creaky and you will hear anyone else walking around, which could be a problem if you are a light sleeper.

The hotel is cozy, clean, confortable and well decorated. The location is unbeatable, close to Bärengraben and Nydegg, and one jump away from the Aare. Breakfast was a very good buffet in a cozy environment. Last but not least, the staff has been amazing in accomodating us with our needs (including setting up a crib for our son and standing our overreach with luggages... thanks!).

Well, rooms are on the small side (although well furnished and equipped) and there is no elevator, but both things are ok and known at booking.

Super easy self check in. Location is great and the view is amazing. The room is very comfortable and we heard no noise throughout the night. Hosts are great and the breakfast provided is delicious. You walk into the breakfast room and are asked what you would like to drink (espresso, tea?)and are given a crossaint and orange juice. Swiss cheese is served to you on the side and then you can pick from the range of fresh fruits, yogurts and bread. Value for money is incredible.

I loved the location with views of the Aare river and bridges. The hotel had some dry bags and flotation devices ( pool noodles ) available at no cost to float with the locals down the river. A refreshing relief from the heat and you can join locals and travellers alike at the outdoor bars along the river bank on your walk back from your float. Such a unique experience. The hosts were super friendly and had a lot of local knowledge ( coming from Bern ). They were actually one of the highlights of the stay. I would definitely choose to eat here as well - fresh, well prepared and delicious food at reasonable prices. Quirky and cute decor - artist vibe.

Just be aware that there is some road noise. We were there during a heat wave ( 37 degrees people! ) which meant windows needed to be open for fresh air. The river was a refreshing and fun relief from the heat.

the atmosphere in the room, they paid attention to very small details to make it super cozy and comfortable; nice bed; shared bathroom was extremely clean, with nice shower gel, no waiting time; breakfast is pretty diverse, nourishing musli that filled me with energy for 16km hike afterwards, cheese, croissants, bread, different fruit, yoghurt, etc.; during the night you can hear very comforting sound of the river (if windows are open); extremely helpful staff; they give you free transport card for Bern during your stay; the area where the hotel is located is pretty quiet yet close to the center

The hotel had a lot of charming points. It is beautifully decorated but not lavish, it looked like stepping into someone's home. Very warm and welcoming. The room looks exactly like what they are shown in the picture. Frida is such a nice host. Breakfast was really good, and if you're vegetarian, there are a lot of options. Free flow coffee and tea. and very close to Rosengarten!

The staircase might not suit a lot of people, especially if you have a big suitcase but I don't actually mind. There is nothing that I don't like. It is all good.

Staff were very friendly, and assisted me to show how the keycard works as well as take up my luggage to my room, up the narrow staircase. Small and quaint, and I love the vibe of the community that the place fosters. The vegetarian breakfast options are great too! Love the spread and the personalised table setting they had for each guestrooms. My room came with a bathroom and a small balcony that has a view of the river.
