Novotel Bern Expo - NEWLY RENOVATED!

Everything was fantastic! The breakfast buffet was incredible and the decor of the lobby and bar was really enjoyable! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to go back and I'll tell others about it for sure!

The only thing I can complain about, was the pillow on the bed. It was a big square pillow and kinda hard. If I just used it as it lay on the bed, my feet hung off the end of the bed. If I scrunched it up so my feet would fit, my neck was in a bad place for sleeping. But that's a minor detail. I know usually most people want bigger pillows and I'm very likely a big exception here.

Helpful staff w great English (thank you), nice little children's area in foyer, LOVE the water stations and reusable glass bottles, super clean and simple but stylish rooms. Loved the location close to trams for easy access to city and hotel gave us free tram passes.

Would be great if there was a little fridge in the room. I thought room service was available but then couldn't find information about it. The restaurant didn't seem very inviting - should advertise more about menu including any local cuisine on offer.

Staff was very helpful. Muhammad at the reception was really helpful in checking us in. A thorough gentleman. Location was great and close to a tram stop. Room cleaning staff was asked twice to clean the room even though we did not want room cleaning during our 2 day stay. Parking was really easy.

Breakfast was good but not as good as it should be for a 4 star hotel. May need to add few more items on the menu. Though parking was really easy but EUR22 per day was a bit high considering it was an in-house parking.

Simple rooms, nothing fancy; yet good size, clean and comfortable. good toilet and shower (Separate Shower and WC is not something I prefer!). Very good location, away from the city but just 10 mins Tram ride will take to the Centre. (Tram stop right opposite the hotel).

Breakfast needs improvement. For the price (CHF29.00), the breakfast is not worth it.

The staff was helpful when needed. The tram stop was directly in front of the building going straight to the city center and or train station. We also appreciated the Bern transit pass our family was given.

Even though our room was airconditioned, the fan wasn't powerful and they'd set a limit on how cool you could set the room.

The hotel is just renovated, room is spacious and has necessary facilities. Beds were very comfortable and as well there is possibility to refill your bottle with water. Staff was very helpful. The hotel is not in the city centre, however they give you free access to public transport, therefore everything can be reached really quickly.

Awesome cozy hotel to stay in bern, public transport is available within walking distance few steps away from hotel. I also got free bern ticket that was usable in all public transport within bern. Hotel staff was very supportive and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting bern.

Breakfast was excellent with variety of food. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable for the family of four. Connection to the city was excellent.

We weren’t made aware that everything would be shut, including the hotel bar and restaurant, as we arrived on a Sunday. Made life a bit difficult. Not a lot of room to move once the sofa bed was out and I’d requested two single ‘zed’ beds.

Very friendly staff, rooms are great, recently upgraded. Tram stop right out front and the hotel gave us a 24hr free local transport card
