Three Palms Lodge

Very clean, value for money, very central. Close to Manukau, Westfield shopping centre.

The pictures need an update. There is a black gate that covers the front of the palm trees. Unfortunately there was a prostitute standing in the front of the building when we arrived late at night from our flight. Although it is value for money, what they're not telling you is it's in the middle of a rundown area. I guess if we knew that before we wouldn't have booked. However price, cleanliness, excellent service and location outdo the other things.

Clean, friendly staff, close to shops . Would surely stay here again and have informed my other families about the location and the facilities. Comfy bed , Shower was exceptional and Breakfast service was good . Great place to stay if any family function to attend .

3 things were missing in the Room Tissues Bottle water Air Freshener -in the toilet Also in the Hand Basin - water was flowing out very slowly. Need to have a Soap/Shampoo Dispenser in the bathroom -had to bend down

When we travel, we generally pick simple places that meet the following criteria - clean, good hot water supply, good wifi, the option to make tea and a basic breakfast in the morning, and ideally quiet. This motel met all of those! It's also a 5-minute walk to the main street where you can get a bus that'll get you to the metro station or to an Airport Link bus station. In addition, there's a Countdown grocery store around the corner and a variety of places to eat - although the majority will be Indian fare. Being vegetarian, that was perfect for us.

Everything was great for our preferences. If you want a view or anything fancy, this wouldn't be the place.

The location is great. Free WiFi worked really well. The room we were given was very convenient to us being in the back of the motel and a fair distance from the other rooms 👌🏿 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks to the Three Palms Team.

There's an HDMI slot for a chromecast to be connected to but the chromecast needed wifi connection. We couldnt figure out why our phone couldnt connect to the chromecast? So we based it on the fact that the chromecast needed to be connected to the WiFi which it couldnt bc the tv was an old school one? Correct me if I'm wrong but that was the only issue we had.

Rooms were clean and quite fresh interiors. Bathrooms small but really clean and tidy. Good shower pressure too. Free parking on site. After hours key pick up to my convenience and depart before hours easily - staff were very helpful communicating about keys etc. Large room size- I did not expect the large space and it was such a good size room. We will return every time we do an airport run/stay as it is a brilliant location for the airport.

- The noise from people around. Not the accommodations fault but just inconsiderate people going between rooms and being loud doing so. - the light under the door - this sounds silly but it lights up the room a lot. It would be a brilliant thing to put some door stick things that stop the breeze under doors - it would block the light perfectly and is a cheap effective solution.

The location was perfect The receptionist was a fantastic lady, welcomes us in a pleasant way when we arrived and was very helpful when we asked questions The room and bathroom was nice and clean

Although everything was nice and clean, the room did not smell fresh. The couch is old and smelly and the carpet was not very clean which may also be the reason why the room smelled.

Super clean and comfortable. Hotel staff are lovely. Nice and easy to get to from the motorway. Freshly painted with plenty of space in the rooms. Basic kitchen set up in the rooms but Large communal kitchen for actual cooking space. Great supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk. With a shop just across the road. Extra pillows and blankets.

People who had been out drinking (not hotel guests) came back at 1am, jumped in their car, parked in the hotel car park, blasted their music and left. Right outside our window. Hotel could do with some do not disturb cards for the doors so if you are staying more than one night you are not woken by house keeping.

Clean, have all amenities we need, kids love it. Good location right next to Kmart. Lots of options to eat around. A few mins drive to Rainbows End and was able to get cake from Cheesecake Factory (walking distance).

The birds can get very loud at night especially if your room is around the palm tree area. Cars get very loud too but if the whole family is tired, wouldn't even notice.

It certainly was clean, there was water leaking from outside which we discovered as we were leaving, but didnt hinder our stay overnight. Was unable to let anyone know as there was no one there at 10.05am. Staff lovely and friendly, countdown and kmart walking distance. Was able to park opposite our room even though we were on the top floor. Our room was perfect for us (3) had all the basics needed, great wifi connection. It was clean and aired out no damp smell. Beds clean and tidy. Noise from other rooms or people going past was not a problem at all. However the rooms by the road are a bit noisey my daughter stayed there as well. She found it a bit hard to sleep properly but she is a light sleeper anyway. There's no scenery we were looking into the doctors building but they did have frosted windows. Awesome with shops so close by, used Uber for dinner to be brought in which was great and handy. The price for 2 rooms was great, and it took us 15mins to drive to the international airport the next morning. There are no elevators there so if you don't want to lug bags upstairs ask to go on the bottom floor. Overall suited us. Denise
