Quaint Boutique Hotel Xewkija0

The room was big and well-furnished. The breakfast was excellent - very good taste, presentation and service. We asked for 3 extra pillows and we had them within the day. We complained once about dirty footprints in the shower and bathroom and it was rectified immediately.

The cleaning of the room - it was only washed once. One day the cleaner entered the shower cubicle with the slipper and left dirty footprints inside the shower and in the bathroom; we had to complain to be cleaned up.

Memory foam pillows and good matras, spacious room, easy check-in

the handle of the shower is not comfortable, it sits in the way when you take a shower. No closet in the bathroom to put your products, only a small tray. There is a lot of noise coming from the reception ( can be avoided by putting door after reception). The breakfast is next door. Although good and a warm big meal, it did take up to 20-30 minutes every time. Around 9:30 they already started to take away parts of the buffet. It is clear that it is not their main focus to provide breakfast.

Hotel was located right next to a restaurant, where they served nice breakfasts. You can also have the lunches and dinner at the same restaurant. Other eatery places are right around the square. Bus stop from the ferry to Victoria was also nearby within 2mins. Gorgeous church located in the same square.

Had a small issue with the cleanliness of the room but was immediately sorted out by the hotel. Much appreciated.

A superb hotel. Our room overlooked the Parish Square and it was wonderful to watch the daily comings and goings and to admire the views. The room was spotlessly clean and the shower excellent (the bath too). The breakfasts were great too - generous and a wide range of options (cereals, toast, fruit, yoghurts, bread, cooked breakfast, omelettes, pancakes etc). The staff on reception were so lovely and the self check in procedure very simple. We had a really happy short break and Xewkija is an ideal place to explore this beautiful island before returning home to Malta.

I liked that the room was clean and had everything one needs during his stay. Breakfast was lovely.

TV didn't work in our bedroom but quite honestly didn't really bothered. What I also didn't like was the restaurant service during breakfast on Sunday, there where 3 staff, the person in the kitchen was working very hard and even the Maltese lady however there was a foreign man supposedly serving clients and he was constantly doing nothing whilst people where waiting and his colleagues working. Also during this particular service milk in the fridge was expired by 4 days.

The room was clean and spacious, everything is new and very well maintained. Parking is easy in the streets around the hotel

I didn't like the breakfast, I wanted a coffee but there was only soluble coffee to dissolve in hot water, other types of coffee like cappuccino, americano, etc come with extra costs. All the dishes are too sweet (croissant only with chocolate option, pancakes floating in syrup)

Breakfast was very good - there were fruit, yoghurts, bread, a hot meal, plus muffins and croissants. Coffee provided was instant; I would recommend a Nespresso coffee machine though which would make the breakfast experience perfect

We had a small problem with the electricity in our particular room. We used to enter in pitch darkness, then have to manuver with the mains switch. In fact we had to call reception on our first mishap.

The 2 rooms were spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast was abundant and delicious with lots of options to choose from. The front desk lady was helpful and greeted us warmly. The lights went out during a thunderstorm just before we headed out for dinner and the staff immediately took action when we informed them. The beautiful piazza of xewkija is charming and made the stay even more enjoyable.

Breakfast was great

They didn’t staff the desk, but instead remotely operated on the day of our checkin (a Friday). The phone in the room stated that we should dial 0 to reach someone, but it didn’t work. Someone did come over to resolve our minor TV remote issue, but it requires us tracking down a phone number that worked. Otherwise a great trip!

Amazing room, comfortable, large and with everything you need! Super impressed with the standard, our favourite stay so far! Staff are helpful and friendly, breakfast is fantastic, great chef and good option of meals. A really well put together hotel. We will be recommending this accommodation to anyone wanting to stay in gozo
