Uptown Palace

The hotel was located in the city centre, we stayed on the 12th floor and the view was lovely!! Breakfast was very nice, loads of cheese and I could get a hot breakfast which was lovely. The bed was huge and comfy. The bathroom was lovely and spacious with sinks for him and her.

Visited the bathroom after we just checked in and someone didn't clean up after themselves when flushed. Meaning the toilet wasn't washed before we checked in, which was a shame as scores would have been a lot higher for cleanliness. The rest was spotless! Another thing was the room size which I thought was quite small for a bed this big! Not complaining about bed size but the room could be a bit bigger/less cluttered .

Breakfast is just so poor It’s a first time we did not have iron in the room and it’s inconvenient No glasses in the room but drinks are in the mini bar - don’t know how they are expecting guests to drink a drinks (paper cups for coffee machine, don’t think it’s up to standard for €550 a night)

Room "Executive Suite with Duomo View": TOP! The balcony and the picturesque 360o window views of Milan Cathedral are amazing; the soundproof of the room's glass windows is very good. There are two connected areas with a soundproofing door between them and the beds, linen, bathrooms and furniture are very very good. The room can accommodate easily and comfortably 4 persons. It has two separated big bathrooms, one with a spa bath and one with large shower, including soft bathrobes and free nice toiletries. The morning wake up is by the sound of the church's bell but it's a pleasure. Located at the 10th floor. Location: You can walk towards Duomo for 15minutes or during a hot/rainy day you may get a taxi for 11,50 euros. Breakfast: Though the set up and the presentation of the food is really poor, the quality and options of food are decent. My opinion is that it's not a good idea to pay 15 euros per person to get the breakfast indoors. You can walk 300m outside of the property and get your breakfast in an Italian cafe with less cost, better food quality and social interaction.

The breakfast is poor comparing to the stunning accommodation and what it is expected for an italian meal. In addition, the property needs to take advantage of its nice bar. With the right skilled bartender, the bar area can turn into a nice last drink to end the night. The same goes for the lobby area, needs a very good coffee barista to attract and host the waiting people.

the property is ideally situated just a 5 minute walk from the metro, where you can get the M3 line to Duomo in a few short minutes. The room included a lovely walk in shower and AC. The staff were beyond helpful and even let us have a few free items from the mini bar the first night as a welcome drink. For the money, you won’t find better.

it would have been lovely to have a dip in a pool after a long day exploring the city.

Room and comfort were excellent. Location has shops and cafes nearby so don't have to rely on hotel facilities.

Location was very good close to the Metro line which brought you to all the main places in the city very easily. Staff were lovely and welcoming and the hotel was really really nice - great shower, comfortable bed, lovely bar. We didn't eat at the hotel, but that was only because there were so many places to try in the city, but some lovely restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Although the hotel was little far from the Duomo Square, around 15 minutes walk, yet the hotel and the room exceed my expectation. The staff were helpful, the room was luxurious, and the bed was comfortable.

I asked the hotel to book me a taxi to the airport, they made me sign a paper saying that if I got late or cancelled the ride, a penalty fees will be applied! this is the first time I counter such event. The receptionist justified it by saying that this is as pee the hotel policy. Although I did not face an issue while using the taxi services, yet I found it weird to sign such paper.

The room was very good, the staff extremely helpful and kind. The location is extremely - a short stroll for the the Duomo. This is a true gem and, and I would definitely stay again if the price is correct!
