Matilde Boutique Hotel

It has what I was usually like on breakfast. Eggs, salad, ham, cheese and exceptional croissants! The atmosphere was also very nice and cosy. Privacy and silent atmosphere with very fast service. Our cappuccino prepared in less than two minutes every day. We strongly suggest to the customers to use reception desk to arrange a taxi whenever they needed. Much faster and cheaper than other sources. Many thanks to Eleonora and Omema from the front desk. So polite and efficient!

The only small minor issue was the orange juice but this doesn't change my whole perspective of the breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. It is located right in the heart of Milan and within 300 meters of the Cathedral. The room was very comfortable with all the amenities that we needed. Breakfast was very good with a great selection to choose from, backed up by good staff. Really good central Hotel.

Location is unbeatable; rooms are comfortable and stylish; staff is friendly and very helpful; and breakfast is delicious. The value was excellent.

Streetcars outside on streets can create a little noise but did not disrupt us at all.

Pillows were terrible

Once we confirmed our booking the hotel shared their What's App number with us. Both Yuliia and Pierfrancesco looked after our every need, from arranging our airport transfer and antigen test to booking restaurants nothing was a problem. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the beds are extremely comfortable with plenty of fresh towels and toiletries available. Breakfast is served in the cafe downstairs and the staff there were equally as friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for a hotel that is very central and convenient to central Milan, only a stone's throw from the Duomo then Matilde Boutique Hotel should be top of your list! I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely nothing!

Fantastic central location, just a very short walk to the Duomo. Lovely comfortable elegant room, and very effective air con which was heavenly in the 38 degree heat! We had a minor problem with the shower when we arrived but the staff sorted it out for us very quickly and graciously. We were very grateful that they looked after our baggage for several hours on the day of our departure allowing us to explore the city right up until the last moment before we had to leave. Very tasty and plentiful breakfast too with lots of choice.

The hotel was lovely and the staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was very clean. The bathroom had all modern amenities and was very big. The bed was comfortable. It was very hot in Milan, and the air conditioning worked well. The location could not be better. Very short walk to all the sites, restaurants, and the metro.

We read complaints of noise from the trains. This may be worse or better depending on the location of the room. We heard the rumbling but wasn't enough to bother our sleep but if you are sensitive to noise this could be an issue.

WiFi could be better. Couldn’t connect more than 3 devices with the secure WiFi. And the hotel WiFi didn’t work well in the room.

Location was really exceptionally good, right next to Duomo cathedral. Breakfast was okay. We really liked the friendliness of the staff, they were also really helpful with their recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. The rooms were also beautiful, and even if you live on the 4th floor you can reach it quickly and easily by a lift.

Breakfast was a bit lacking, however for a 3-star hotel it was enough. There was nothing else to complain about.

The place seems like a chic old building with a front desk where one gets to feel like a privileged tenant living in the heart of the city. The room had the feeling of a town house's bedroom with an en suite bathroom. The windows and doors dividing the bathroom gave the place a fancy look. Breakfast takes place in a vivid coffee shop which mimics the sensation of enjoying the start of the day "out of home", somewhere in the city.

Breakfast could be more carefully curated and there is a real need of a more consistent waiting service / assistance. The room too tight and small.
