Hotel Rio

I travelled by myself (30 year old female) and felt so welcome, safe and comfortable! Reception was friendly, amazing location (Duomo a 30metre walk!). Very easy to get the 73 bus from Linate airport to nearby. Never written a review but loved this place. In the perfect location to walk around to the high end shops and then also the lower end (eg Primark). Lots of food options around. The room was small but cosy, the tv had YouTube and you could sign into Amazon/Netflix

Fantastic location - in the heart of Milan, steps away from the Duomo. This is my second time staying at this hotel. Very good breakfast. The room is quiet - facing a courtyard and other buildings, not facing the street. I would stay at this hotel again.

There is only one еlectrical network contact next to the desk, but no еlectrical network contact next to the bed.

Smaller, quaint hotel a block from the Duomo and the Galleria. Rooms were clean and classic with a spacious bathroom. Elevator was helpful to reaching your floor with luggage. Staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was nice with hot and cold options and our personal barista who made whatever morning drink you might desire. There is a taxi stand one block away near the Duomo for easy access.

Rooms were a bit dark and in some places peeling or recently patched. The rooms are comfortable and clean but if you are looking for snazzy decor and bells and whistles this is not the place. It is a great hotel with old world flavor at a very reasonable price in a great location for Milan's sights.

Great location, breakfast not the best but enough for the price paid.

The room could be bigger and newer, like the bathroom, which is quite old. However, the good location makes up for these deficiencies.

Steps away from Duomo and the Galleria...tram and metro right there too. Great price for location, breakfast was a plus.

Nothing negative...you're paying for a good nights sleep after a long day of roaming Milan!

perfect location at reasonable cost

breakfast area just a little cramped but it’s a minor concern. the breakfast was diverse and delicious.

The location was perfect and the staff I spoke with were very helpful. I even left for a day trip before breakfast time and without asking was taken to the dining room and offered a full selection and given bottles of water to take with me.

The hotel staff was very helpfull and polite, thank you! The location is perfect, few steps from Duomo and close to many landmarks. There are many shops and restaurants in the area and the subway is very close. The room was enough large, but the bathroom is very small. The breakfast was good.

My room was super clean; The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The location is excellent. The hotel is within a block of the palace, doumo, and galleria. The area is very busy. There is a lot to do. Some exhibitions and museums were open until 8pm. The palace had classical concerts at 7pm and 8pm. So easy to get around.There are lots of great specialty shops. Everywhere I ate was good.

It was perfect.

location was great. quiet with tram outside. double glazed windows. large room with high ceiling gave it a spacious feel. good sized ensuite. breakfast was good start to the day and good range of choices. a good choice for our stay in Milan. we used trams and metro system. and we walked to major attractions from hotel and could return to have rest!!

wifi was weak. but good at 1 am on Monday morning.
