The hotel was excellent, the location was perfect it was only a short walk around the corner to duomo and other tourist attractions. The staff where extremely friendly and accommodating especially Maddalena who checked us in to the hotel. The rooms are great sizes for central Milan and there are many bakeries around. The hotel also arranged a airport transfer for us. It was a great trip I will definitely book again with Speronari suites.

Location is excellent but not on the main road so it's still quiet. Our room is also very spacious. Hand-written welcome note and biscotti are a sweet addition. The property feels very new, clean and tidy. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel and since there are so many bakeries and patisseries nearby, for us, there is no need. The staff are all very friendly. They helped me make a restaurant reservation and got us a taxi to the airport on checking out.

My husband thought the air-con was too cold but it was perfect for me. I did switch it off for some parts of the night. We tried to ask for extra blanket but were told that they have run out.

We would like to mention that this small boutique 22 room hotel is amazing and the staff exceptional, especially the hotel manager Manuel. We had a beautiful stay, the hotel is in a great location, quiet, the bed comfortable and within walking distance to almost everything. If you are visiting Milan and want to live like a local, the very knowledgeable and “elegante” Manuel will make sure your stay is the most memorable. From local attractions, superb dining options, how to get around the city and a gentleman who makes you feel like the only guest in the hotel, you must stay here. Nothing was ever too difficult and delivered with good humour and a cheeky smile. The adjoining Argentinian restaurant serves great bar snacks and quality drinks (thanks Antonio) within a beautiful dining ambiance, and the nearby Artisan Princi bakery, delicious. (at Bulgari prices) Grazie Mille. We will be back.

Nothing to dislike.

Breakfast quality was excellent with hot and cold options as well as fresh made cappuccino (not from a machine). Metro two short blocks away, as well as Duomo and Galleria. Nice dining options including excellent bakery just outside the front door. Reception could not have been more helpful. Also the restaurant staff was very nice when we arrived when I was not feeling great and our room was not ready; there was a comfy place to sit and we were offered hot drinks to warm up. Our room was spotless, ample size, and bathroom was a good size as well.

Lighting in the room somewhat dim but I wasn’t there to perform surgery so it was fine. 😊

Staff were very welcoming and professional The location so close to the duomo but in a quiet street There was a bakery next door with excellent coffee and lunch and an Argentinian restaurant attached to the hotel for sinner which meant as a solo traveler I felt safe at night The breakfast was excellent and 15 euro which I thought good value The room was spotlessly clean and there was an opening door to the balcony with a table a chairs

Staff was very helpful, and polite. The location was excellent as centrally located in old city area. The hotel was recently renovated. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The downstairs restaurant was good and convenient. The buffet had a good selection and everything was fresh.

The room was very dark, and as seniors we require more lighting. No Kleenex in the room. No face cloths. No iron or steamer. No English TV channels.

The location was literally next to the Duomo. Cleanliness is the most important thing for me no matter it is for home (I ask my helper change bedsheets every two days for example) or in a hotel. I have to say I’m satisfied with the cleanliness of Speronari. The staffs are very efficient, helpful and very professional, in my opinion their service style is very elegant and appropriate, we felt welcomed but not overwhelmed, well served. We go to Milano every time when we go back to Europe and we will definitely go back next time. Highly recommend who has a standard for service, cleanliness for a hotel.

Closet? In our room there was a place to hang clothes but not a closet. It was on top of the desk so was not very practical especially when you have long dresses and many shoes (which we had to leave them on the floor next to the bed).

The location is very central, just a few steps from the Duomo...but extremely quiet. It's also next to Princi bakery, which is great for breakfast pastries/coffee. The suite is great for a family of 4. Two rooms separated by a concertina partition door and entrance area. Maddelena is very cheerful and helpful at reception. The hotel is happy to store luggage if you will be returning to Milan after doing some travelling. There's an Argentine restaurant downstairs and a bar. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it looks very good! ...you will need to book.

Sensor extractor fan in bathroom seemed not very effective. The ledge at the entryway of the room is a little awkwardly placed....I managed to very badly bruise my shin on it coming back from dinner on our first night in Milan. The edge of the double bed was also a little sharp.

Really well located in the foodie area of Milano. Has a great restaurant attached and really enjoyed aperitivo hours on their outdoor sofa.

The staff at breakfast were not very attentive when it came to serving tea or coffee. But staff at other times were really friendly and were very nice. The front desk were very helpful always. One thing..in our room, the towel rail was turned up so high I got a bad burn on my hand that blistered. We had to get the heated towel rail turned off.
