Hotel Regina

The hotel was in a perfect location. 15 minute walk from the Duomo and a 15-20 minute walk from Milano Cadorna Station (direct train to and from the airport). The rooms were a fantastic size, the beds were huge and so comfortable and everything was so clean. The hotel staff were super helpful and so friendly. Continental Breakfast had a great selection as well.

The only thing that wasn’t great but was no fault of the Hotel, just Milan city life was that the tram is quite loud and runs quite late/ early in the morning. Once I was asleep it didn’t bother me at all - just something to get used to and part of the experience!

I loved absolutely everything in this place: 1) Delicious breakfast, included scrambled eggs, sausage, various salamis, proshiutto, smoked salmon, water melon. other fruits, various juices, fresh desserts. 2) Very comfortable bed, soft mattress 3) very modern and spacious bathroom w bidet 4) complimentary water tank in the lobby, very useful in summer during the heat 5) schedule of trains to the airport from the closest metro station - extremely useful, don't forget to ask where it hangs 6) plenty of good quality and very affordable restaurants within a short walking distance, just around the corner 7) This is one of the few times I am writing a review of the hotel, but it is a Gem not to be missed! If I am ever again in Milan, I will never stay in a different hotel.

Everything was just right,

Great small hotel in terrific position. Tram out the front and lots of shops and restaurants near by. Easy to get to all the main attractions. Big room by European standards and nice and quiet with good air conditioning as it was very hot when we were there. Staff were very helpful. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so can’t comment on it. There was a nice little outside courtyard area too but unfortunately it was too hot to use it.

Suited us fine but there was a kettle and only instant coffee and a selection of tea bags. Most other places seemed to have a coffee pod machine to make expressos. As tea drinkers we very much appreciated the kettle.

Perfect location in a very nice central area, close to attractions like the Basilica Sant Ambrogio. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped with electric kettle, toiletries, bathrobe, slippers etc. Good curtains to make the room dark. Maybe the storage space was a bit limited but it was okay for a short stay. The room overlooking the internal courtyard was very quiet. The staff was very kind and helpful and went out of their way to help with any kind of inquiry.

There was a noise at night, probably the ventilation system but a very kind lady from the staff helped me to resolve this issue and overall the room was quiet.

Good location ; nearby duomo, famous basilicas and historic architecture; in front of the hotel there is a tram station. Recently many hotels reduce some amenity(tissue papers, slipper etc.) and convenience service for environment or cost-saving. Hotel Regina joined “eco world hotel” which is sustainable hotel initiative and also they give enough amenity and serive to the customers in eco-friendly ways, I think. I saw all the staff tried to listen to the customer’s need kindly. I can spend relaxing tome in Hotel Regina.

Nothing

The hotel is at a great location, within walking distance to the Duomo. The room was very clean and the staff was, generally, very welcoming and helpful - especially the late night shift receptionist (he was awesome!). The breakfast was good value for money, slightly richer than a continental breakfast (had a small selection of warm foods like scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage).

The wifi in my room was not very fast (though, to be fair, it wasn’t terrible). The room was not entirely soundproof, so I would occasionally hear noise from the tram down the street.

The Regina hotel is well located and easily reachable by public transport. It has been refurbished with a very sympathetic deco. It's a surprise to enter the small door at street level to find a lovely atrium with a small bar. The reception and check-in was fast and the team polite and welcoming. The room was very small (as expected from photos) but I had everything that I needed and a good fresh bathroom with a nicely pressured shower. The bed was comfortable and big enough for one person (a small double). They had a kettle in the room with nescafe and a few tea bags. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean and bright. Although the A/C was fully functional, I liked I could open the windows both in the room and bathroom. Nearby there are a great range of restaurant and the very important gelato parlour. If I return to Milan I would not hesitate to book the hotel again or to recommend to friends and family.

I have no complains, and the hotel was better than expected; except breakfast i was expecting a real cappuccino/coffe instead of the self serving machine.

Very clean & pleasant!

Internet was available on hourly basis. You would get disconnected in the middle of working on something once the hour was up then you have to do the reconnection process all over again.

Location is perfect. The staff is very polite and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the space was good. The patio is a good option to soak in the sun while recharging batteries.

They made our room even if we had put do not disturb and more annoyingly they put my pajama and underwear that I left on the bed on top of a closed trolley, which of course is not very clean. I think it's a bit too expensive considering the age of the facilities but the whole of Milan is overpriced so it is an average price for the area. No body cream in the set of toiletries but nice slippers.

I booked the hotel for a 3-day business trip, so I was looking out for a place that was central, well-connected and which offered a good level of comfort after long days of meetings. The hotel delivered on all fronts, the room was spacious, kept immaculately clean and had tea-making facilities. The hotel is located just off the central Via Torino, and around the corner from the San Lorenzo area, which means you're in easy walking reach of plenty of restaurants and the central Piazza Duomo.
