Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel

Great and modern spa hotel near the harbour. Really nice spa area with 2 pools, jacuzzis, saunas etc. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice for all tastes. Room was a bit smallish, but very clean and comfortable. Bathrobes and slippers provided.

When I checked in, receptionist told me that I will have an upgraded room on the 5th floor. Unfortunately, my key card for the provided room did not work, so I was given another room at the same floor, but in fact, I really did not understand what was the upgrade there - looked pretty standard room with a view on backside parking area. At the reception I was asked if I wanted cleaning of my room during my stay of 3 nights, to which I said yes, however, no cleaning was done during my stay.

It is a modern hotel and has some very good facilities. We particularly enjoyed the spa and swimming pools (including pool bar!) which were very good and never too busy. Breakfast was also very nice. The hotel was very well located, just a 5 minute walk into the old town and right next to the ferry terminal, which was very handy for us as we caught a ferry to Helsinki at the end of our stay.

Rooms were ok and the bed was very comfortable. Decor was a bit dated and lacking in character - the room was basically functional and perfectly good enough but nothing special. The plumbing was also quite noisy at times. Wi-if was ok but would often be patchy. Better in the main part of the hotel.

Spa facilities were excellent and really worth the trip. Also, the pool bar staff was extremely friendly and professional. Spa was clean and providing various attractions - pools, saunas, etc.

The value for money could have been better. Even though a 4 star hotel, but did not have any additional wellness kit in the room, and sheets were torn and not done properly the first day. Also, the wardrobe was quite small. Hotel reception was friendly, however, when asking additional help (printing, scan, questions on late check-out), not too helpful. Promised, but did not deliver. Assuming would require additional training. Even though hotel was on the higher side of local hotels cost wise, apart from the SPA area, it did not persuade us as a full-fledged 4 star hotel.

The spa facilities were great and I loved that they were included in the price. We could have spent much more time in the spa, but also wanted to explore Tallinn. The food was great -- at breakfast there was a great selection, and it was nice that you could have a nice quick informal meal in the lobby bar as well.

The bedroom walls weren't well soundproofed -- we could hear literally everything in our neighbours room(!!) The pool bar closed earlier than advertised one night, with no explanation -- the barman was also pretty abrupt in telling us that.

The room is clean and the bed is super comfy. We slept really good, just like home bed. Inside the room has mini fridge but no kettle or mircrowave. However, the spa/pool and sauna is included, and the bathrobes are out of our expectation. We are plusize, so we requested an extra big size bathrobe and we are very satisfied with it. Staffs are very helpful and professional, speak good English and also Finnish. The breakfast was good and fresh. The location is really close to the ferry habour and Circle K, and about 10' walking to the oldtown, also easy to take taxi and buses. In the end, we are super satisfied and highly recommend this!

The room is quiet, clean. The beds are comfortable. Helpful staff. Good breakfast, a large selection of food - the food is delicious. The pool and sauna complex could work a little longer until 24:00h. You can take the parking space in the backyard in city parking - 6€ for 24h. There is paying machine, accept cash and cards. Also you can use EuroPark app it works in the all city area.

Bad coffee, diluted juice. The shower is limescaled, it can be seen that it is poorly cleaned.

The room was great, very spacious and comfortable, with a kettle and a giant sofa bed - our 14-year-old daughter loved sleeping on it. A very pleasant bonus was special service at breakfast, Spanish omelette, smoothies and orange fresh were outstanding, the serving ladies were polite and very friendly.

1.Two of the three steam rooms were out of order and no one seemed to be trying to fix them, only one was working and it was all the time crowded. 2.There was some kind of system error and the receptionist at the check-out told us we had to pay 66 euros for the parking place which we never used, it was an unpleasant experience before leaving (why it's always YOU OWE US, why it's never WE OWE YOU?!). 3.We arrived 50 minutes before check-in time, parked a car at the hotel and received a fine of 31 euros because the parking sign was not seen, and even we found it, everything on it was in Estonian, so be careful, the parking at the hotel is free only from 3 pm on Saturday and until Sunday night.

Everything was really nice and clean, the staff was very nice and they spoke multiple languages well. The suite was very much worth the money we paid. The breakfast was amazing, very versatile and the special breakfast extra attention was very nice.

The bathroom of our suite was kind of poorly made. The floors weren't tilted towards the drain at all so the water pooled everywhere, and the showers doors didn't keep the water inside the shower at all so water was everywhere. Also the glass door between the bedroom and the bathroom was a weird choise privacy vice. The pool area could have a more interesting children's area so they would stay away from the bar area, didn't really enjoy the kids splashing around while I was trying to drink there in peace with friends.

The pool, sauna and hot tub were such a delight after exploring the Old Town in the snow. The location was also perfect for getting to ferry port for a trip to Helsinki. The breakfast range is excellent however it can be a little chaotic if you arrive from 9.30am onwards as we were sent in to find ourselves a table which were all packed and ended up accidentally sitting on one that someone had taken and was kicked off it when they returned from the buffet. Otherwise, staff were very friendly, accommodating and the hotel was warm.

I recommend getting the breakfast on the earlier side for the smoothest experience. We were told we were given a room upgrade but I couldn't really tell what was different. We had to request a room kettle but I think that was just an oversight and the staff quickly corrected it.

We had a very nice and comfortable room, most likely recently refurbished. We also enjoyed the spa, which was large and offered a variety of different saunas and pools. My partner was also very happy with the massage she booked at the wellness center. Breakfast was delicious, with a decent spread. Location is pretty prefect, both if arriving with the the ferry or the bus from the airport. The oldtown area is within reasonable walking distance

Arranging a late check-out was a nightmare. We had a late return flight and really wanted to secure a late check out, a service they even promote that they offer. Upon booking, however, they said we had to arrange this when checking inn on arrival. When checking inn, we was told to ask the next day. On the next day we was told to ask after breakfast on the day of checking out.. Either offer the late check out service, or dont. I wasted too much energy on this, and not knowing whether we could check out late or not made it difficult fo us to plan our last evening and subsequent day in Tallinn.
