Excellent breakfast, service, attention, kind staff and nice room

The staff was superb, friendly and very accommodating.

It was in no way an issue with the hotel, but unfortunately we witnessed an armed robbery at the lobby of the hotel as we were just checking in. All of the staff who were present at that moment were very professional and acted according to their training, and we are very grateful for that. I hope the city and the respective authorities will invest more resources in the area of security, to protect more the tourist industry which is of such importance to the city and the country overall.

The hotel is centrally located and close to the beach. It is close to restaurants, shopping, grocery store, and all of the conveniences that you would need while traveling. And everything was within walking distance.

Better access to the other parts of the city and better beach access would have been nice, and a written list of activities and potential companies for guests that they trust to do business with would have been helpful.

Great location! Very close to the beach and shops. Very easy to get cabs and a big, cheap supermarket across the street. The staff were super polite and helpful. Also saved us some money on cabs. The place was super clean. The pool area was nice. Breakfast was good. You could choose between options and the cook prepares. Can warmly recommend everything about the place! It’s luxurious and in great condition and we enjoyed our stay.

Location is excellent, close to the center of Bocagrande, and two streets from the beach. Swimming pool is small, but has shade, and is often pretty empty. The breakfast is great, and can be delivered to the room at no extra charge. Rooms are nice, and shower pretty big and comfy. Staff is really nice and helpful. All together a great base to explore Cartagena.

The hotel has been renovated, is very sleek and modern and is SPOTLESSLY clean. Our room was cleaned/serviced daily without having to request this which we loved. The location was fantastic and fit into our plans perfectly. The staff (each one we had contact with) were incredible which was a wonderful surprise--professional, attentive, responsive. The sheets/towels and pillows were snow white and soft. They provided ample towels in the bathroom and also gave us towels for the pool and to take to the beach (without complaints, deposits or signed legal waivers!) which was an added bonus so that we did not have to buy beach towels. The safe in the room worked, was quite large and was very easy to use. The TV was actually a big size and the cable worked perfectly. There was even a small mini fridge in the room which is always handy. The shower and hand basin had hot water ALL the time and decent lighting. The AC was very efficient and not noisy so sleeping was comfortable. We were offered the WIFI password but never used it so I cannot comment on that. I had read some complaints about the lack of variety with the included breakfasts but we found them to be just fine and substantial (fresh fruit, juice, eggs, bread, hot beverages etc) as there were four different options which the staff were very accommodating about tweaking slightly. The price was very reasonable and our entire four night stay (with included breakfasts and free all day coffee station) was a better experience and better value for money than many (supposed) 5 star hotels I have stayed in.

There were a couple of minor things that have prevented me from giving them a perfect score but they did not negatively impact our stay...the room was a bit on the small side which probably is the reason that the bed was only a double. We would have liked a Queen size bed at least. There is only one elevator so there are times where you have to wait a few minutes. The pool (which is very nice BTW) was a tiny bit cloudy (as opposed to crystal clear). You can hear noise from other guests through the doors so we asked for a room away from the elevator which we were kindly given.

The room was clean and pleasant with a comfortable and spacious bed, nice bathroom, excellent air conditioning, very good wi-fi and not too small fridge. The breakfast was tasty and interesting. The staff was friendly and helpful.

An electric kettle in the room would have increased the comfort level. The wardrobe should be bigger.

Staff awesome very kind and lovely personel. Breakfast superb! Facilities renovaded you can tell it's an old hotel but it's clean and upkept. Minor issues while there.

More breakfast options after the 5th day it all runs the same , room 402 noisy Ac faulty keypad loose and faulty bathroom dripped overnight not Major but it needed some repairs. Rooms were a bit small. Un attended pool área. We were out most of the time and these issue were minimal

This is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed in Cartagena. Everything about this place was great. Every staff member I met was excellent, the room was spacious and comfortable, the AC, hot water and shower, (most important to me) worked flawlessly, the WiFi was excellent. overall, a great place to stay.

There’s nothing negative to say about this hotel from my end, however, if you love swimming pools, the one in this property is small compared to others, but very clean and cozy.

Great big spacious room for junior suite, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also good with a wide variety of choice. Hotel is in a good location in city centre. Everything you need is within walking distance, including some great restaurants as well as the beach. Hotel is located about 20mins from downtown Cartagena via Taxi/Uber
