Wonderful Staff that made you feel like Family. I can't say enough about the Wonderful Staff. GREAT PEOPLE!!!... FANTASTIC LOCATION!!! Walking distance to all old Historic Cartagena. The Breakfast was fresh and varied. I especially liked the variety of fresh fruit, and watching the Sunsets from the Jacuzzi Tub with wonderful views of BocaGrande High Rises and the Marinas.

The Entrance from the street is not as welcoming as it could be. I suggested adding a Welcome Mat and Two Big Planters with Flowers or Bougainvillea on either side of entrance door to make it a bit more inviting.

The hotel is in Getsemani, a very trendy and lively district of Cartagena. A lot of bars and restaurants are in walking distance and we felt pretty save walking around in the evening. The staff was very friendly and tried to accomodate our wishes promptly. We first got the room at the ground floor which I would avoid as it is much smaller (including the bed) and even noisier then the rooms at the upper floors (you have the breakfast area in addition right infront of the room). After the first night, we asked for another room at the upper floors and they gave us another one straight away. Overall we think the price quality balance is well mixed. Don’t expect a 4* or 5* hotel standard or service as you also don’t pay that much for the room. There is a 24h security as well and overall we liked the experience and the people here.

Clearly the noise and we were surprised that not many reviews mentioned it. But literally, you have loud music and party into the night. We stayed there for 3 nights from Sat to Tue and thought Monday would be quieter after Sat and Sun of loud music and party noise till morning but no. There is a club straight next to the hotel and this is a clear disadvantage. Sometimes there were also trucks in the street in the morning and you could hear them.

This hotel is located in a central area for walking around the lovely neighbourhood of Getsemani. The breakfast was delicious and varied each day, the staff were helpful and friendly and the wifi is strong. The A/C is great and our bed was the comfiest and biggest bed we’ve had travelling South America. Reviews have mentioned the noise from the nightclub next door but everywhere in Getsemani will be like this so if you want somewhere quiet stay in a different neighbourhood. I also saw people mention the steep stairs but as an able bodied person I found them fine. Perhaps if this is something that would bother you, request a room on the first floor. Would 100% recommend this hotel! Loved the rooftop jacuzzi!

The breakfast was delicious, fruit, eggs, juice and coffee every morning. The staff were very friendly and Candalina was especially friendly and very welcoming! She said the secret ingredient for her arepas was love 😍 There was a security guard to let us in throughout the night which was good and it was less than a 5minute walk to Getsemani where the night life, street food vendours are and nice places to sit and people watch. 10-15 minute walk to the Old Town. There's also a jacuzzi on the top floor with a beautiful view of the port area.

There were a few power cuts during our stay but they lasted for max. 10-20 minutes.

The hotel is a beautifully renovated colonial house, each room is unique. My room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities. The staff were very nice and helpful, and Señora Candelaria in particular was wonderful! Very convenient location, walking distance to several great restaurants and bars.

The steps to the third floor are very steep and there's no elevator. There's a nightclub on one side of the hotel that can get noisy, so make sure to request a room location that works for you.

Good location - Getsemani district but also close to Walled city. The stuff is helpful and friendly but don't speak English. Facilities are also fine for the price I paid. The hotel seems a bit abondoned because I haven't seen any other guys staying in the hotel during my stay but it is even good for me - more peace. The top terrace has jacuzzi and a great view to the sea.

I was disappointed my room didn't have a desk because on the photos it was a desk. And it was WiFi breaks. The stairs are steep and it is a bit difficult to go up. It is very noisy because it is in a touristic area and the windows are old (I guess they follow the common style), but there is noisy everywhere if you live in this area.

Staff was excellent in service and friendliness. The complimentary breakfast was great. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was close to all areas and events we needed to be at.

It was hard to initially find, not clear outside signage, and the taxi driver could not find. We had to walk around the area for awhile to finally locate. There were a few power outages.

Newly renovated rooms and ambiance were just perfect. Room had strong A/C and dark curtains... essentials in Cartagena. Jacuzzi was inviting and refreshing on the hot days. Loved my stay here. Right accross from Marina with views of Bocagrande were nice.

SUPER steep stairs to top floor was "fun" after a few drinks. Lots of lower rooms available though. I missed breakfast so can't comment.

The staff was the BEST, very attentive! Candi was especially helpful-- not only did she prepare a delicious breakfast every morning, but she also helped us book a last minute tour of El Tutumo mud volcano, arranged for a COVID test (required to return to the US), and patiently identified and cut all the fruits we bought at the supermarket. The room and bed were very comfortable with strong hot water and wifi. Very good location, a few minutes walk to Getsemani and the Old Town.

It was pretty loud at night from a club a few doors away.

Great location, not too far away from old town with excellent neighbourhood restaurants. I can commend Martin for his kindness and helpfulness. Decoration of the hotel felt private and local.

Maybe the beds were a bit sqeeky, and could hear the door bell ringing. But that is more a general issue in the colombian buildings as sound ptoffing is not there.
