The location location location was perfect!!! Can’t express it enough!!! We had a room with a balcony and we loved loved it!! The staff was very very kind and helpful . I highly recommend this place and the value was grreeeat!! The only thing I would say is don’t choose this place for the pool (it was not very clean and seemed uninviting also the hammock in the picture above the pool was not up) but other than the it was amazing!!!

Location and building

We were asked for a voluntary tipping at check out (already included in the bill). I think the hotel should pay for the services of their employees.

Great location, very interesting building, and good rooms, definetely good place to stay if you want to be in old town, and in proximity of Tourist port to Islands, or even Getsemani is like 25min walking distance.

Only thing which I did not like, is that when checking out ''Tips for hotel staff'' 6% were included in the bill, I don't agree with such pratice, they advised us that if you don't want to tip, they can remove it from the bill, but in my opionion it should be vice versa, as they put guest in uncomfortable position. Tips should be voluntary, I don't mind tipping, but I hate when Im forced to, its enough that restaurants in the are do that, didn't expect it from a hotel, that's the only reason why Im not rating 10.

This is the 2nd time I stay here. I absolutely love not only thr location but the whole hotel including the staff. They are all do helpful from the front desk to the ladies who clean and serve breakfast in the morning.. If u are reading this review just book it foe whem u come visit. U are steps away from a delicious restaurant San Valentin and in the middle if any club and tourist picture u want.

Only thing is that if u have a hard time goin up and down stairs this isn't the place it had 4 stories bit no elevator. Theu do take your bags up in a elevator for bags but not for people. Request 2nd floor if possible.

All staff was very lovely and friendly. The colonial feel really helped to immerse ourselves in the beautiful antique city of Cartagena. Location wise, it was very central so we could walk everywhere, even to San Felipe Castle. Bedroom was also very comfortable and clean. Overall it was a good value for money.

Unfortunately being so central in the lively Antique City has its downside. it was almost impossible to sleep at night, the noise was nonstop up until 5 am. Ambulances, cars honking, loud music, did not let us have a restful sleep. We also found that the pool was in an awkward area and there wasn’t really space to chill around the pool. However, this was not a big deal as there’s plenty more to do in the beautiful city of Cartagena

In the center of the old town. Converted colonial home with character and charm. Thoughtful staff were ready to help w everything from tours to travel sickness. Nice breakfast options even when we arrived right before closing. Housecleaning staff was Excellent.

There are some classic trade offs here. The room with the fabulous tall windows was louder. The interior room was quieter but with less natural light.

location is really good, and the staff is also very good people. friendly and smiling. the hotel in general is beautiful, the rooms after the second floor are very nice. wifi work everywhere sauf in the room 101.

when book, it was full, so got only the first room (101) terrible room, really to avoid it. you get all the noise of cars (traffic noise outside until 3:30am) and the public toile outside the room from 5:40am) and just outside the room too is where the staff take things for cleaning so, over night you will not sleep because the cars outside, and in the morning because thing going on inside the hotel. but is also the cheapest room, that’s why. and finally breakfast is not a big deal, I rather go out and eat outside. at the end in plenty of place to eat out.

Friendly and helpful staff. Provided great recommendations about places to eat. Great location near to restaurants, supermarkets, main attractions. They have some issues with WiFi, but staff resolved. Pretty building inside patio and swimming pool Room was clean and big. Small fridge and safe

Restaurant start early (6am - 7am), noises of restaurant (tables, plates, other) Third floor no elevator only for luggage. I recommend using blackout curtains. Hit my toes several times with bed frame.

Bed - king was two beds combined. Not terrible but not ideal Balconies connect to other rooms - good if you know people in the other rooms a little weird if you dont
