Hotel Casa San Agustin

Entire Staff and facility just spectacular, tremendously helpful.

Our room and bath were great size and beautiful. The seating not comfortable and the room quite dark. Music from Alma came into our room and 2 nights which not pleasant. Hotel did compensate us nicely for the noise disturbance 2 of our 5 nights and were VERY apologetic.

We absolutely loved this hotel! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a big room, with a comfy bed, a big beautiful bathroom and a balcony with pool chairs and a table to eat breakfast. For a hotel in the Walled City, the view from the room was very nice. We loved this hotel and the room so much, that we decided to spend most of the time in the hotel. One of the highlights is the pool area. The pool has crystal clear water, is heated and is next to a 200 year old, untouched wall full of charme. The hotel also offered fruits that you could eat inside the pool. Alma, the restaurant of the hotel, offers a delicious à la carte breakfast and it's perfect to enjoy a romantic dinner. We liked the location of the hotel as it's close to everything but still in a more quite area. Besides this, there are other smaller details that make this hotel outstand. It offers bikes that guests can borrow for free. On our arrival, all our bags and suitcases were disinfected. During our stay it was my birthday and the hotel prepared a little surprise with a small cake. One day when we come back to Cartagena, we will definitely come back to Casa San Agustin!

Nothing, everything was perfect.

I knew the Casa San Agustin would be nice, but I didn't know that it would be exceptional. From the moment we stepped in the property, we were met with the most helpful staff, most beautiful property, and most comfortable room. From all aspects, this property is above and beyond. There is not a thing I would wish to change, only that we could have stayed longer. Special thanks to Paula and Marco who made our stay extra special.

Service, Check in experience with Katherine who welcomed us in french (our native language) she was very attentive all along the stay, great cocktails, breakfast menu and some other kind attentions ... The deluxe room was very nice ...

Air cond was a bit noisy and shower temperature not warm enough but was ok with Cartagena weather !

The hotel is fantastic. they have excellent, clean rooms and the staff are all very well trained. having a free mini bar every day is an excellent touch, particularly when you can’t drink the local water. the food in Alma Restaurant is excellent!

the pool has no sun beds in direct sunlight. the roof terrace has no plunge pool and only three sun beds. photos on booking.com seem to suggest there is a roof top pool which is not the case. this is a let down when you want to sunbathe and swim. shame

Spacey rooms, very helpful staff, good breakfast. And excelent location in the old city.

Can be noisy until 11pm if you are by the restaurant due to live music there every night, and too expensive despite all the qualities of the place.

Hotel Casa San Agustín was really an extraordinary and magical place. They have taken care of every detail in the architecture of the place and the staff was so worry about everything you need. In addition, the food in Alma Restaurant was delicious. The place was magical, literally a diamond in the middle of old Cartagena de Indias. My trip would not have been the same if I had not stay here.

The internet was a bit slow in the room I got. Also, my room was a bit dark when we were making up our luggage, but as I understood when learning about the architecture of the place, that was part of the decoration, to make you feel in a comfortable and romantic setting. But that really did not care at the end. You go to the place to rest. I loved the hotel.

I loved the quite library where they offered Columbian expresso and cordials . I loved the pool and the quite area on the 3 rd floor. The authentic decor throughout the house . The VIP service, the doorman , Resturant Alama breakfast was 5 stars .

There is nothing I didn’t like .

Such a beautiful place, the staff was super friendly and everybody spoke perfect English which was a pleasant surprise, which assisted me and my very broken spanish allot.

Say I can't say I disliked anything, the prices are high but it's totally understandable with all the service and features they provide..

This trip was me and my husband, first time in Colombia to celebrate my birthday. Casa San Agustin team was above and beyond to please us. I love the service, Andres was great. I never had a such amazing experience like in this hotel.

Everything was just PERFECT.
