Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Yerevan

As I was checking in, I realized I lost my wallet (all of my money and credit cards were in there). I thought I lost it at the airport, and literally had no money to get there, let alone pay for my hotel. The girl who was checking me in gave me money to get a taxi back to the airport and back, made phone calls to the airport on my behalf, and generally saved me from a nervous breakdown. Fortunately, my driver came back and I got my wallet back, but the love and support from the staff at the Ramada will ensure I stay here EVERY time I travel to Yerevan!!!!!!!

One of two of the elevators was out of service, which made getting to and from my room was a little slow, but it wasn't really an issue.

Ramada in Yerevan is an amazing hotel, staff are excellent, kind, polite. We were enjoying breakfast time a lot, as food is very delicious and environment is very welcoming, especially hostesses Sona Hovhannisyan and Maria Javadova are very wonderful staff , always smiling, attending to our needs, making our breakfast time very enjoyable. We really like to go back to Ramada every time we go to Armenia, and would love to see same staff there, as they are absolutely wonderful and professional, from the front desk to housekeeping.

The size of the rooms was very good and they were really clean. At first we had a problem checking in but the manager was very nice and helpful and solved our problem the next day. She also send us a bowl of fruit to make up for the problem. She was great. The rest of the staff were amazing too. Ask for a room with city view because some of the rooms are facing an other building, which is not really comfortable.

The break fast was the same every day. Also they did not have a toaster for bread so that you can toast it any time you want. we reserved two suites, one had a good view but the other one was facing an other building. Wifi was so slow, and I was not satisfied with it.

nice location close to abovyan street and republic square. property was clean, spacious and apartment had a big balcony.

since it was an apartment, there should be some kitchenware inc cutlery and cooking pans etc. the kitchen was just shell kitchen with electric stove. some cutlery was provided when we requested but still the hotel did not have pans etc of the right size. also there was no toaster or microwave which one would expect in a kitchen.

The staff at this hotel were superb, a real credit to the management. They were always happy to help and of cheerful disposition. As my room was ready, they were kind enough to allow an early check in. Although the room was tiny, it was well furnished with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The location is fantastic for exploring the city as it is just metres from Republic Square. There are good cafes and restaurants near to the hotel (although do be warned...Yerevan rises late and so there is very little open before 9). I would definitely stay at this hotel again if the issue wit the ac was sorted.

When I got to my room...the air conditioning was not working. I called down to reception only to be told that the ac was not on in the hotel generally....thus I should just open the window! The temperature was around 24 C in Yerevan when I arrived and thus the heat in the room was uncomfortable throughout my 4 night stay. One excuse given for not having the ac on was that it had previously been cold and snowing in the city. I believe that a 4 star chain hotel should give the guest the option to have the ac on irrespective of the month of the year. What next....you cannot use the lights in the room until after sunset!!

The location was very good, many shops, cafes, exchange, supermarkets and restaurants around you. Main and the famous square was few minutes away from the hotel. The rooms were big and very good. I had a nice and big balcony.

Air conditioner was working but not cooling. When we asked reception, it is working on water and this standard temperature in all rooms and cannot be changed. Some rooms had bidet sprayers and most of rooms no.

The location is perfect, close to Republic Square, so everywhere in walking distance. The staff were outstandingly friendly and welcoming and always went out of their way to go that extra mile, even when not asked to.

This was my second stay here, last time I mentioned the WiFi in my room was a little unreliable. Not only did thay take that comment on board, they had addressed the problem and let me know it had been fixed when I checked in. I was amazed and impressed.

A great property overall. Centrally located, modern and great value for money. In esssence, a 5* property for a 4* price. Rooms are huge and functional. Great staff.

The only slight fault is the elevators. There are just two elevators and they tend to be busy, so the waiting time is not what you expect in a hotel. Not much can be done about it as this is a design problem. But this is the only fault one can spot. otherwise, the place is great.

In general, I was satisfied with the room, service and hotel as such. The staff is quite friendly, especially the cleaners and bartenders. Over the past month I have stayed in 9 different hotels in Yerevan, and only "Ramada" left a good impression. Thanks to the hotel for a great time.

Sometimes there was noise from neighboring rooms, the wifi was slow in the evenings, and the air conditioner did not work well during the day.
