Ararat Hotel

I liked the hotel very much. It was in the centre,the room was large and comfortable.I booked single room they gave me large room with king size bed. I liked the breakfast it was fresh and tasty. The pool was closed but they told me it will be reopened on March.I will recommend this hotel and sure will come back on my next vacation.

We really liked the locality - it is right in the downtown, close to all parks and offices. Though there is a huge road in front of the building, the traffic was not heard inside. The staff was helpful, the breakfasts were OK.

My room (last floor under roof) was not possible to cool down even with A/C, that was actually heating it even more. We forgot that breakfasts start late in Armenia, it was available 9-11, so we had to adjust our routine to be able to have it.

air conditioner doesn’t work and I reported to reception but they didn’t care to fix that.

No idea how the hotel holding a 4 star status. Not at all meeting the 4 star rating. But the staffs are very good. AC issue second day No water provided Second no room cleaning provided No enough light Safe not working Beds are not comfortable Pool is dirty Gym is useless.

Breakfast was so so. There was only one lady who was taking care of food as well as all other items.

No facilities at all. They lack staff. If you order anything then the reception guy have to come to your room.

It's close to the city.

The reception in the morning is not friendly and I booked for the queen size and they gave me a twin bed. There are mosquitos in the room and it's hot.

Good location. Close to many tourist attractions the balcony is beautiful. Nice art work. Lebanese restaurant by the Russian Federation Embassy was good.

The hotel rooms are dusty and old. The free breakfast is cold and I got food poisoning. I had to buy medicine. I have been sick all day. Yerevan is known for food poisoning lawsuit criminal intent mass contamination and yet they are still careless with the food. The vents had black circles it could be dust or mold. The gym facilities do not all work. The treadmill was broken. The pool area was filthy at the bottom. The towels and wash clothes have human hair all over it. The bathtub was dirty and moulded on the sides. The luggage cart does not make it all the way to the room because there are two more sets of stairs before you get there. The people above kept dragging chairs and it is carpeted but you still hear the chairs dragging. They do not offer luggage storage lockers. Very dusty room. I was blowing my nose every morning when I woke up. Breakfast isn't until 9am when all the attractions open so you really can't get to eat before anything begins but I guess that is a favour really as you will just catch food poisoning. The staff constantly asking you if you like Armenia. No one speaks English well. Not worth the money. They need to learn how to clean the rooms and sanitise for COVID and other germs and bacteria. Bell Boy only available after 16:00.
