Bass Boutique Hotel

It was a very pleasant experience! :) People were nice and polite to us, the room was pretty, comfy and clean. Amazing bathtub AND shower! Very good bed, not too soft, not too hard, just right. Breakfasts were nice too, nothing mindblowing but it was fresh, fulfilling and had good variety to it (as if you made breakfast for yourself). We also could see mt. Ararat from our window and it was so beautiful! There's a small groceries store near the hotel and a pharmacy too.

The hotel's wifi is weak so I'd recommend getting a mobile internet! You can buy a local sim card.

The room has a great side Ararat view. It was tiny, but at the same time very cozy. The breakfasts were all right, pretty much the same every day, but everything was fresh and tasty. The location is very convenient, everything is accessible within walking distance, and at the same time the street is very quite.

It was quite cold in the room, the receptionist said that the heating system was already off, but it was around 3 degrees at night, so it wasn't very pleasant. Also had a couple of issues that it was needed to repeat all requests several times on the reception.

Nice location near a metro station and in walking distance of the downtown area as well. We arrived earlier than regular check-in hours but the staff was eager to help us find a room. They even upgraded the room free of charge. We only used the hotel for sleeping. It was good for that. The breakfast was filling, and there was enough of a variety to make it interesting.

If you're looking for a nice view from the window, this isn't the place for you. That wasn't important for us, but it could be for some people. Likewise, there's a construction site next door to the hotel. It wasn't noisy at night or in the morning, but if you need to sleep during the day it could be a problem. The TV also didn't work. We didn't need it at all, but again some people may find that important. We didn't ask the staff to help with it. I also noticed the door to the balcony didn't close even with the key that was in the door. We didn't talk to the staff about that either, because it was late and we were there for one night only. The hotel also had some problems with card payments which wasn't critical, but a bit inconvenient.

I loved the huge room that came with a million dollar view - Mount Ararat! A wonderful large bathroom with a huge bathtub and a nice shower! Great breakfast options!

The internet could have been better! There were nights when it simply did not work and I don't know if it was because of the number of people using it or just bad. Maybe they should pay a bit more for a better contract? I don't know how things work in Armenia.

A very spacious "budget" room. Although Booking says there aren't windows for this type of suite, there are two big windows. Sofa, two tables and one of them is the worktable. The room will be enough even for 3 people. Furniture and stuffing of the room are great. Having bath tube is fantastic and you can enjoy the bath. Also, girls on reception are cheerful and quick with resolving your issues. Breakfast is decent even with the instant coffee. Cannot recommend more.

The surrounding area is not great for walking although it's a nice park nearby. It's advisable for you to go to the metro and in 1 - 2 stations you'll be able to walk downtown.

Large, comfortable rooms. Big bed. Very helpful staff, who were able to advise us on various items such as train and bus connections. Quiet location near a side road. Although not in city center, it is still within a walking distance from all main attractions. Subway station (Marshal Baghtamyan) is 5 minutes away.

Our only remark would be breakfast buffet. There was no variety to it. As we stayed for a week it was already a bit too monotonous to eat the same food. A bit of a issue was with smoking in front of the hotel, as we had window open during night.

Good location off the main street, parking in front of the hotel. It was very clean and well maintained. Room was big and beds comfy. Bathroom was nice and spacious.

We have reserved the sauna, but couldn't use it as our reservation was forgotten and it wasn't heated. There were no glasses in the room.

The Bass Boutique Hotel is located in a nice area, not very central but I enjoyed walking to the center and passing in front of the Lovers' Park and the National Assembly of Armenia. Alternatively there is a metro station just 100 meters from the hotel. My room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was also quite good. Special thanks to the manager, Gayane, who helped me a lot with my requests and honestly asked for my feedback on my last day, as well as the lovely ladies responsible for breakfast (asking me every day if I want omelet and Armenian coffee) and cleaning.

My only remark is that a couple of the advertised facilities, such as the wine cellar and the sauna/spa, were not available, I guess because of the not-so-high tourist season? For the wine cellar I can totally understand (most probably I wouldn't have used it because of the many great wine bars in town, Saryan str), but the sauna was one of the "extras" that influenced my decision to book this hotel and I kept getting different answers when asking Gayane ("yes, you can use it") and the receptionists ("sorry, it's not available").

The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was great, and the room was cozy with a great view of Yerevan. On a clear day, you can see Mt. Ararat from the balcony, and in the distance, you see the Genocide Memorial and the Hrazdan Stadium.
