Hyatt Centric Midtown 5th Avenue New York

Location is great.

Bathroom door did not close properly. Top bar was booked for a private party. Total let down not being able to hang out there. The rooms not facing outside might as well have painted on windows. The view sucked.

The breakfast is not the best I had and did not have a great choice (only scrambled eggs, pancakes and fruit salad when we stayed) but the location is really good and is only 10 minutes away of Time Square by foot. The staff was friendly and really helped us with questions we had about New York in general.

The perfect location, big room (we had with two queen size beds) according to NYC standarts. Couple of days we had buffet and other nights a la carte. Helpful staff! Nice roof top bar with Empire view!

Great location, comfy bed, and friendly staff. A huge plus was that we were able to drop off our bags early with the hotel before checking in . Then after checkout we were able to leave our bags with the lobby to enjoy our last day in NY without having to drag our bags everywhere. Great if you're taking the train in!

Location was great in regards to Time Square. Also was great to be by Bryant Park. Easy access to food, the subway, shopping. The hotel was great as well. Clean, pretty room, big TV, etc. Staff were all very nice. Room was perfect. I recommend staying here for a good price for the city. I will be back for another stay, for sure!

Awesome location, nice toiletries, absolutely noiseless.

The bathroom we had was for people with disabilities (we were more than ready to exchange to accommodate someone who’d need it, as we did not) and the whole bathroom was flooded every time we took a shower. The flooring is clearly not concave enough and there was no hooks to hang our towels.

close to almost everything in Midtown , quite relaxing area

the restaurant was expensive and not high standards ( Italian name but not Italian cuisine )

It was pretty much central to everything. Easy access to Bryant Park and Times Square. Very clean! It smelt really nice as soon as you walk into the hotel.

Room could be a bit bigger but I guess that is everywhere in NY.

Friendly staff, spacious room and located close to attractions and public transport but not on a main road so less noisy.

Rooftop bar was closed. Some noise from outside.
