Hampton Inn West

I didn't eat any breakfast. I only wanted coffee. The coffee area was very clean and the coffee was good as always.

When I first arrived to the hotel around 4:30 p.m the person (Garth) at the front desk gave me the key to a room on the third floor on the very end of the hall(303), that didn't work. After we had taken all our luggage to this room. I had to go back to the front desk to ask for another room key and a room on the first floor. I put in my accommodation for a walk-in shower and I didn't get it. Thank God I didn't fall getting out that tub/shower. After I ask for a room on the first floor everything was alright except the fitted sheet did not fit the bed, so we slept ok.

Location was good, clean as always. I can’t really say much as I was only there long enough to sleep and shower, we didn’t even get breakfast.

There was a significant gap between my door frame and door, near the bottom, large enough to where I could actually see through to the hallway. As a single woman that’s very concerning.

My daughter puked in the car and the staff did everything in their power to help me get it cleaned! This was not their responsibility but they were so helpful and so kind . The kids loved the breakfast and again the staff is just some of the sweetest people. The pool was warm. We're definitely staying with them again.

Very clean and convenient location. Pool was nice and plenty of towels.

I contacted the hotel in advance the week before (and commented in my original scheduling) to request joined rooms bc we have a large family and need to be close, on arrival the rooms were on different floors and sides of the building. The desk rep did try to fix it and placed up as close as possible, which was 2 rooms and an elevator away.

Housekeeping kept knocking at my door even though I said I was sleeping and it was 2 hours before check out. This happened 3 times, I had a long day ahead so it was very frustrating. I finally gave up trying to sleep and left No sign to put out saying do not disturb.. I believe the manager took our key when we left, no hello, no thank you, no good morning, no good bye. For me the hotel was a lot of money I was woke early and the MGR could have cared less about us leaving, he was to busy chatting with the coworker.

all very impressive except black mold in the bathroom and very musty smell. Why is there was no bathroom exhaust fan? Has the carpet been wet?

see above about the black mold. overall all else was great. staff were great.

We didn't get to spend a lot of time awake in the hotel but the time we did was great. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Price was good compared to hotels around it. Would stay at again if I'm back in Columbus.

rooms were ready and clean when we arrived. Pool was nice went in a few times.

The only down side was being woke up at 7am to a fire alarm, someone burnt the toast.

If you want quality for your money this is a great place to go. The pool is open later than most hotels which was nice if you Arive later I the day.

The beds were a little harder than I remember. But other than that it was good.

Staff was friendly and helpful! Great location of highway, close to restraunts and shopping!
