From check-in to check-out staff members always acknowledged me and offered a friendly greeting. I requested a quiet room and was offered a top floor, corner room, which isolated me from a lot of activity. Nice that they were able to accommodate a simple request. Plus I was right across the hall from the stairway for easy access. Breakfast options were suitable for a quick repast. If you want more options there's a Perkins right next door, easy to walk over to.

Access to the parking lot is from either the cross-streets to the east or west of the Expressway. Not a big deal as they probably had no other option from the city.

Everything was wonderful. Initially, I was skeptical about the prepackaged breakfast sandwiches, but they were great. From beginning to end, this was the best place we stayed on our entire trip. We could have lived in our room, it was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. I wish we had a reason to visit more often!!

I can't even make up something I didn't like. It was absolutely wonderful.

Good quality well maintained hotel on the south side of Bismarck with easy access to airport, shopping mall, numerous restaurants and good routes to downtown Bismarck, Mandan and major highways. Superior in my opinion to the nearby Ramkota which, in May 2022, is looking a little run down, and a better value IMHO than the also nearby Fairfield Inn. Friendly staff, room clean and in good repair. Comfortable bed. Largish "suite" style rooms. Adequate breakfast but heavy on carbs and sugar. Good room noise insulation. I'm a repeat customer, so it's been a good choice for me.

The pseudo pre-payment requirements for reservations (you are charged when you reserve but offered free cancellation, as opposed to being charged when you stay), is a little annoying and cumbersome for the guest. They need to add some protein (eggs, sausage, anything) to the breakfast buffet! But that's true of many hotels these days...

The Expressway was very clean, friendly and inviting. The attendant at breakfast, Kim, was so sweet to my grandson. We will definitely stay there again.

What's not to like? Everything was perfect!

The bed was super comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I liked having the bar/lounge right at the hotel and it actually stayed open late in the evening. Just traveled for a short getaway and it was perfect for what we wanted.

Everything was great. The only thing I would say anything about is that our bathroom door didn't latch but it was just me and my husband so it wasn't an issue for us. Otherwise, we had a great time.

Loved the location! Clothes to the mall and other major chain stores! Great eating options nearby as well.

I didn't like that there wasn't a secondary lock on the room door-just the dead bolt. I by no means felt unsafe during my stay, but I would have liked to see another lock as well. Breakfast options were pretty bare bones, but at least it was something!!

The staff was attentive and friendly! Breakfast had plenty of to go options, and the coin laundry was an added bonus.

The carpet in the room was dirty, or old? Bits of it would stick to our feet, so we always wore socks, taking them off right before bed to avoid getting bits of fabric in the sheets. Not the end of the world, but not what you’d expect.

The staff is very friendly, especially the lady who works the breakfast area. I bring my elderly mother to Bismarck for medical appointments and when we stay at the Expressway she is so respectful and helpful when it comes to my mother. This is so appreciated and I make sure she knows this.

The parking can get a little tight but I know that can't be changed.

Very clean, comfortable, roomy. Enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good location.

What a delightful experience from the beginning to end! Checking in was a breeze with a kind staff member. Our bathroom had a little rubber duckie in it which was a cute addition! The bathroom was about the prettiest I've ever seen in any hotel anywhere in the world with beautiful tiles on the floor and in the shower area and no institutional- like tub or shower. The breakfast couldn't have been better with a large variety of options suitable for all palates. Never stayed at an Expressway Suites property before and was therefore thrilled at the prospect of also staying at the Fargo location the next night. NOT so lucky there with an altogether different vibe and facilities.

Not a thing except some minor maintenance required on the bathroom door frame.
