We had a very well appointed suite. We stayed for seven days so this gave us plenty of space. New York hotel rooms are often quite small, so we were very happy. This is our fourth or fifth stay here. It's a great location to visit the city, but well away from the "madness" of Times Square!

We were notified beforehand (and hence it wasn't really a problem) that the hotel is currently being refurbished. During our stay the bars and restaurant were closed. Only one lift working but it was manned by a member of staff, so we never had to wait.

I have been going to W hotels for years. They always deliver. This time, I must say the look and feel was not what I have come to know of W hotels, but that is due to COVID and not to the hotel. Also, I made a mistake, I booked the hotel for one day before I was due to arrive with my wife. In other words we were a now show for our first night. While they originally charged me for that no show, their manager completely understood I made a mistake and they fully refunded me. Honestly they did not have to, but they did. I will come back.

Room size was perfect; very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Restaurant / amenities are under construction. This should be made known before a reservation is booked, vs. being alerted after (not fair to guests). Once it is made you are committed, and this may have been of significant importance to some guests. We were able to work around it, and the hotel helped make up for it.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. They were incredibly helpful and kind. I was delayed checking out the room and they were so accommodating about it. I'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately due to renovations no restaurant open

The room was exceptionally large and comfortable for NYC. It was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable and cozy. Our housekeeper was very sweet and tried to be helpful☺️ The front desk staff and door attendants were all very kind and helpful!

NYC and NYS room taxes upon taxes… ridiculous!

The location is convenient for a city trip, the rooms are clean, big and quiet. The staff is helpful, de doorman are very friendly and they had a kind woord everyday. We had a room with a view on Union Square.

the location was ideally for us... size of room was good...

it was unfortunate that the kitchen and bar werent available but the staff made very effort to negagte this with coffee in the morning...

Everything went well. Spacious room, clean, staff was very friendly.

View was another building, but that really wasn't an issue. We didn't book the hotel for a view.
