This place is IDEAL for NYC Pride Weekend. PrideFest is LITERALLY right outside the front doors of this hotel. It’s proximity to Union Square Park and station is unbeatable. The staff here is AMAZING. I had an issue with checkin, but the staff’s hospitality made it very hard to stay upset. I stay here yearly for Pride weekend !

I tend to have issues at check-in, going thru booking. It’s quiet frustrating, I don’t know if it’s on bookings end or the hotels end, but the last 3 years there’s been a problem. This year the issue was more on me initially,however the was it was resolved by the morning crew left me with a room cancellation and the afternoon crew with no answers for me as to how it happened.Gratefully I’m local that I was able to return home that night and get the room I booked the following night, but only after rebooking while I was there at the front desk. Obviously using booking.com comes with discounts, but possibly booking DIRECTLY with the hotel is the better option. They seem to have issues with 3rd party sites.

Everything. Greeted at the door immediately by the valet, front desk staff got us checked in early. Facility was clean in every detail. Room was larger than expected, clean, well-appointed, all fixtures and plumbing in great working order, bed clean and very comfortable. A/C worked wonderfully. Halls and elevator spotless. It’s obvious everyone there takes pride in their work and seemed to be happy working there. Location was fantastic…a block from the Union square subway stop and walking distance to the Village. Will definitely stay again!

Location is great. Room is large (considering the location) and comfortable. Staffs are very good. Wy check in late with Daniel. He is still enthusiastic in making us feel like home. At daytime, we met Cardyn. She is very friendly and provide us helpful assistance. We will be back.

The staff were very friendly and engaged us in conversation as we came and went. They were always so friendly and helpful- recommending the water dispenser in the fitness room, directing me to the downstairs bathroom to refresh after my red eye flight.

I loved it there and wished we were staying longer!

The room footprint was quite small but the interiors/bedding/bathroom were great. The staff were all so amazing and were the highlight of the stay.

The room footprint was a bit small and the spaces around the bed were a tight squeeze to navigate around with large suitcases. There was not enough seating apart from the bed.

The room and especially the bathroom was very clean. The front desk was friendly and followed through with my request despite not being on the clock. They even reminded me I asked about booking a ride to the airport on check out day. The 24 hour gym was a bonus since my husband is an early riser and was able to get his workout in before anyone was awake without wearing a mask. Good coffee in the morning near the front desk was another bonus since we did not need to run out to a cafe for caffeine. Oh, coffee available in the room as well, which was well stocked.

The fitted sheet kept coming loose and was a bit annoying, however I did not give the staff a chance to remedy, which I am sure they would have.

the staff was very helpful and efficient. they have a text system and any requests we had ie towels, extra blankets were taken care of within minutes. The corner studio suite is very large for NYC. views were great. came for an NYU tour with my daughter and it was a great location.

Not the properties fault but I wish hotels would go back to the pre-covid housekeeping services. I understand the reason but I miss coming back in to empty trash cans, clean towels and dirty towels removed. luckily, this property replies very quickly to requests.

The bed was the most comfortable I’ve found in a hotel in recent memory. The proximity to our event (SMWSA tasting in the Library of Distilled Spirits) was perfect, and the food/drinks/service in the Bowery restaurant were amazing.

I understand why it was so expensive - but I’m not sure how often we would be able to afford to stay there.

This is an excellent location, close to Union Square subway station. We were on the 7th floor, street-side, and with the window closed, there was very little street noise.

Not a fan of the open-concept bathroom.

Loved the location. Close to Union Square Station so moving around the City is easy.

Would have liked to stay again in May when I have to return for for my son’s graduation but the price per night is over 3 times what I paid now.
