Very viby close to times square and broadway.

The fact that booking.com took my money and paid it to the hotel and the hotel put a hold on the same amount which maxed my credit card out and i could not use it. I took it up with reception and they could not give a damn

The location was excellent, we couldn't get closer to times square for the price that we paid. We asked for tickets for 9/11 memorial and the staff where great. They also provided the shuttle to the airport hotel/hotel airport and the price beats all other prices. I definitely coming back to NY and stay in this hotel again.

The breakfast was grab and go, so you have a voucher and could that 1 item + 1 drink. The hot item was cold and was not so good. When we decided to eat at the restaurant (you can pay extra 5 dollars plus your voucher and eat at the restaurant), the food was not good either, so after that we decided to eat at the dinners around the hotel. The housekeeping also did not change our bed linen (and we stayed for 6 nights).

The convenience of the Hotel, and the safety procedure to get to the rooms. The concierge was brilliant, great tips when buying the Hop on Hop off tickets.

The Grab & Go breakfast service area was very dark and dingy, very off-putting. Food served was very poor quality. Would be better for the hotel if they didn't offer it. Also there was 3 of us booked in, all paid the same price but only 2 allowed the Grab & Go Breakfast, very strange.

I booked b&b in a suite for 4 of us.... myself, my husband n our 2 daughters aged 17 and 25. The b&b only covered breakfast for 2 of us. The cost of breakfast in the hotel for two every day was very expensive. This is the only issue I had. Other than that, everything was great.

What a great location if you're going to the theater, restaurants or Times Square. There are taxis waiting at almost any time or it was easy to connect to Lyft if you are using that as a mode of transportation. Takeaway breakfast was adequate and the choice of sit-down breakfast for $5 was a welcome surprise. And the beds were comfortable and the noise factor was not over the top. We have no complaints about The Edison.

The hotel is perfectly placed for easy access to Time Square. The staff are friendly and attentive. They take their security seriously. You have to show your key card to go up in the elevator. We saw the watchman catch someone trying to sneak up without a card (she acted confused about the question and then said she was visiting a friend). It is easy to have friends visit you there, you just need to meet them in the lobby and escort them to your room. The room was clean and well maintained. The carry out breakfast was good too (hot egg/meat/cheese sandwich with coffee & juice... or fruit or danishes)

An issue (not that they can control this) is there are people who like to show off their fancy/hotrod cars who rev the engines super loud and troll the streets around Time Square. It was entertaining for a few minutes, then it got old as we could hear their engines well into the evening. Also, the air conditioning unit in our room sounded like a high powered engine when it kicked in. We set the temp real low and then turned it off for a while to reduce the # times it kicked in and woke us up. I would definitely stay here again, just know to bring ear plugs because I'm a light sleeper.

The rooms are some of the best I have stayed in NYC. Perfectly located and in walking distance to all main attractions (if you enjoy walking)

The only downside was that it was really noisy. We had a room facing the street & it was very, very noisy to the point of being woken up at all hours of the morning

Amazing location, just around the corner of Time Square. We were at the centre of everything. Very good services from the staff always available and with a "yes" attitude that is much appreciated.

Unfortunately the noise from the air conditionner units just outside our room windows. The size of the room were a bit of a dissapointment. The breakfast "Grab & Go" policy is a bit of a mystery for me as we were 5 but only could get the vouchers for 4! Also the 5$ per person (plus Tax) to sit at the restaurant for the breakfast is a bum.

The Edison could not be better positioned, 30 secs walk from Times Square. The staff were always friendly and supportive with rooms larger than the average in New York City. Grab n’ Go breakfast was always fresh and served immediately.

My only two complaints are: 1) AC waaay too noisy, to the point where you would have to decide whether to deal with the noise vs the cooling factor. Think it needs a major overhaul. Windows also need a dose of soundproofing, you can literally hear every bleep and shout coming from Times Square, and we were on the 14th floor! 2) Storage space - I suspect the hotel think that most people visit NYC for 2-3 days and therefor it’s ok to live out of suitcases, but when you’re staying for a week, you need some shelving, not just a cupboard with 10 hangers for a family of four!

I liked the location.

The Grab N Go breakfast was horrible! The regular menu breakfast was limited and add ons cost more than a decent breakfast elsewhere. I'm extremely disappointed because this was a huge selling point. No late check out- not even a 30 min courtesy. No one answered phone at reception, I had to Go down in person to talk to someone. I got talked into upgrading and the room was not as nice as the receptionist described. Waste of $450!!
