Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The room was large and clean with a nice spacious bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The fitness center was small but spotless and nicely stocked with water bottles and towels at each machine. The experience felt luxurious.

There were some housekeeping issues. The room wasn't ready at check-in time of 3pm (we were told that they were still restocking the minibar). On another day, housekeeping wasn't able to clean my room when requested due to them being short-staffed. Water bottles were not restocked when my room was cleaned. At check-in, our minibar had an already opened and mostly empty bottle of vodka. At checkout, we were informed that there was a minibar charge for a diet Coke that we had never drank (we didn't touch the minibar), however this was quickly removed when we pointed that out. Blackout curtains didn't extend all the way to the edges of the windows, so I was woken up by the sunlight every night. My room was a little loud at night at times due to being close to the street.

Such a lovely hotel in a quieter part of the city; the area has a cool vibe, with a good selection of restaurants around South St Seaport & Pier 17 - a lot less commercial and touristy compared to other parts of NYC! The hotel itself was very comfortable, super friendly staff and a spacious room - their French toast is one of the best!! I had a great stay and would definitely recommend 33 Seaport.

The hotel room was well renovated with modern and cozy decor. Most importantly the beds were extremely comfortable - we felt like we were sleeping on clouds. The reception and welcome staff were also very friendly - and offered us water and bellinis as soon as we arrived. The hotel is also conveniently located in the heart of Manhatten, near World Trade Centre / Financial District, and close to Fulton St. Subway Station. The hotel is also located next to the up-and-coming Seaport area, with lovely restaurants, including the Pier-17 complex, and an amazing picturesque view of the Brooklyn Bridge. Great area for a nice walk.

The room we were given didn't have a view. We were looked out to the back of another building. The hotel room desk and drawers were full of alcohol, snacks, and goods, which were not complimentary. We would have liked to have more space to put our things on without fear of knocking bottles of expensive alcohol over. I understand the concept, but they took up way too much room. The ironing board was really small and didn't have a soft enough surface to iron properly. For a 5-star hotel, I expected more as I expect them to be catering to professionals (who wear shirts that need to be ironed).

Everything. I think the new owners/management has done a great job. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Good breakfast and very polite staff. I would definitely come back.

They should change the windows for ones that better isolate external noise.

Location is perfect - the Seaport district is super trendy and lively, and there are subway connections to practically anywhere in the city less than 10 minutes away. Supremely comfortable bed and very clean room and bathroom. Loved the frosted glass and rainforest shower. Decent size gym, and decently kitted, but don't expect to be wowed.

Rooms are a bit on the small side. The towels kept being changed daily even though we were asking them not to. The staff could have done a better job to explain the city tax at check-in. Why isn't there a toilet brush in the toilet?

Location is excellent for exploring Manhattan and Brooklyn, within 20 or 30 minutes of most places a tourist would want to go. Fulton station is a 5-10min walk and will get you into most major subway lines. The Seaport area is significantly quieter than central tourism areas but still very appealing part of the city, with quaint cobbled streets and a good selection of restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is quiet and the lounge, bar and rooms are very well presented. Overall the hotel has quite has a boutique feel and you really know you aren’t in a giant chain hotel.

We didn’t pay the £ premium for a street side room with a view of the road as a courtyard view was cheaper, quieter and you don’t visit New York to look out the hotel window. Internal courtyard is just some air conditioners and doesn’t let much light in on lower floors. Ultimately it didn’t bother us, but won’t suit everyone. There is no such thing as a cheap stay in NY, we felt the price we paid was fair, perhaps not a bargain. We didn’t opt into breakfast due to the price, but there are plenty of options at various price points in the local area. The only real issue we had during our stay was our room being left open by housekeeping one day but, this reported to reception who apologised and we felt it was a genuine mistake.

The gentleman at the front door greeted us with a friendly smile, assisted us unloading and carried our luggage to our room. Check in was very smooth and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The building was appealing and fit in to the architecture of the neighborhood yet the room was modern and lovely. The staff in the adjoining restaurant were excellent and our Saturday brunch was delicious and satisfying.

The only thing that I can think of is that the carpet in our room was a bit worn and dingy. Otherwise, the accommodations were comfortable and visually appealing.

Terrific and classy hotel very close to the Brooklyn Bridge. I expected it to be a bit clinical due to its proximity to the Financial District, but it really wasn't. Our rooms were large - especially by NY standards - the beds were massive and comfortable, the restaurant was smart and laid back, and the staff was attentive and friendly. Easily the best place I've stayed in the city (helped by an excellent deal on Booking) and I would happily return.

It's very minor: I sent a message to the hotel via Booking before the trip and didn't receive a reply, but I did get get several promotional emails. But that pales in comparison to the quality of the hotel itself.

We loved everything basically about the property! The staff especially was extremely nice and fulfilling our requests. The reception was really kind and had nice tips for things to do/see in the area. The food at the breakfast and dinner was really excellent. The housekeeping team cleaned impeccably every day and refilled what we needed without us even asking! We are really happy with our stay and felt we good great value for our money. We will definitely be back, thanks again.

The only minor thing I would note is when the bathroom lights are on it gets very bright in the room, due to a wall made from of glass facing the bed. I woke up to it a few times
