Homestead Motel

Mica and her family is awesome! We have stayed at the Homestead Motel every time we have been to Branson about 5-6 times. We keep coming back because we know what to expect every time. Affordable but not lacking in any amenity. Not only is it American owned and operated, it is clean, comfortable, cozy, hot showers and you can really tell they care about their property as we hadn’t been back since before Covid-19 and we noticed the upgrades: electronic keypad door locks, stainless fridge and microwave, etc. Each time we are met with friendliness and willingness to ensure we know how to get tickets and know best places for food.

Cute place, room was clean, kids enjoyed the pool!

-Reviews mentioned how nice & welcoming the owners were, yet we did not meet them. We received a phone call to check in. We chose a family ran business for a more personable experience but did not receive that. -Booked online with Bookings.com, registered with 2 adults and 2 teens. When we received our phone call check in we were asked how many occupants. Were then told we would be charged an additional $15 per teen, as our reservation only listed 2 adults. -The room was nice, clean but not well insulated. Could hear traffic all night.

The property was very clean and thankfully very quiet. I also liked the no contact check in procedure.

I was confused by the 100 dollar incidental charge that was put on my card. Thankfully this was explained by the motel owner as something that was necessary due to issues theyve had in the past. People stealing pillows, etc. This is something that the vast majority of us would never think about doing. Unfortunately not everyone was raised to be respectful when youre a guest even a paying guest. Also if youre a large national chain you can get away with smaller incidentals as you can absorb these losses much easier. I would encourage a direct call to the property to book your stay if possible.

The location was perfect for what we wanted. This was a spontaneous trip for us from Arkansas to Branson. The location is about a 5-minute drive from Branson Landing. The stay exceeded my expectations. The manager was prompt in his response to my inquiry about checking in. I like the fact that there was a keypad that required a code vs worrying about a key. The room itself was very clean with an updated microwave and mini fridge that did the job. The area was quiet despite being on the main street. My partner is a smoker and being to step out of the room to smoke at night was a major plus as well as being able to sit outside our room to enjoy the fall weather. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept like babies with no problems. We have already decided that we will definitely rebook another stay here once we return to Branson.

We had a good stay, the owners are so kind and friendly and made us feel more than welcome from arrival to departure. It felt like staying with family, definitely not an experience you will get at any corporate spot. Big plus for us was they allow pets so lit furry friend got to hang out while we explored Branson. Even before we had hit the road we got a detailed text with info, Wi-Fi password and asking us to pick out our door code; very cool. Our room was an older room and that was disclosed up front so next time we visit, which we definitely will

inconsiderate folks upstairs. but that’s hardly the fault of the owners. people just suck lol

The room was nice and clean. There was enough linens in the room (towels, etc). There was a full size coffee pot in the room and not one of those little Dickie 1 cup coffee makers. There was also no key cards which was nice you just had to press in the code it was a lot more simpler 😁

The room was cold no matter what the thermostat was set on. There was only a sheet and a very thin blanket on the bed. And it was hard to get in-and-out of the driveway due to traffic in Branson.

I liked that we were closer to the beginning of the strip. I liked the keypad entry. That was pretty cool. I liked that there was a window in the bathroom for ventilation. Pretty nice having a mini fridge and microwave in the room. That was convenient. I liked that they had chicken and ducks. Our kids got to hold and feed them. Pretty cool.

The space was pretty small. We had 6 in our group and we had to move the pull out couch over by the bathroom door so it was pretty inconvenient having to squeeze through to get to the bathroom and the sink. That's not really a negative cause I'm glad they accommodated our larger group. That's really it. Everything else was great!

Property was very clean. The owner was wonderful and assisted me in obtaining tickets. Property was pet friendly and had a large area to walk our dogs.

While the property is in a great location, it is on a bend on a descending hill so it is difficult to make a left out of the property. This can be avoided by making a right and another right onto a couple of side streets.

Our room was very clean. The beds were firm, but quite comfortable. The location is quiet, and has easy access on the main routes for Branson. Close parking for all guests. It was also nice to be able to step out of the room to the covered veranda, rather than into the rain. The Homestead is in the top three "motel" hotels we've stayed at for many years. Definitely would stay again. A great value for the price. God bless Brian and Mica for proving a place doesn't have to be new to be nice.

Nothing really. We knew when booking that there was no breakfast, and that the pool was closed.

My room was very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and I liked the arrangement with the sink being separate from the toilet/shower-tub. I will definitely stay at Homestead again.

Nothing. Most people want a breakfast these days, but I prefer them concentrating on the upkeep of the rooms. I can go to a restaurant for a meal.
