Sheraton Minneapolis West Hotel

We actually moved to the Sheraton from a nearby La Quinta because the conditions were remarkably better at the Sheraton. Unfortunately we found some small insects in the bed on our last day. We reported it to the front desk. They were supposed to make sure the sheets were changed & the room cleaned. Instead when we returned that evening nobody had even visited our room. The bed was unmade, the towels were still in the tub where we’d left them. The room was untouched. To there credit the night manager, Toby, provided its a different room to sleep in for that night & comped that night for us. I’ve stayed at this Sheraton before & it has always been a good hotel & good value. They were far superior to the La Quinta which was what we needed at the time.

The cleaning staff would tidy up the room but didn’t change sheets, even when we specifically requested it. In fact on that day they didn’t even touch our room after we asked them to.

The staff were excellent. They were friendly and took care of our needs. The beds were superior quality. The hotel was in a quiet area, even though the freeways were very close. Restaurants and shops were within walking distance.

We had difficulty regulating the temperature in our room. it was always cold. The TV system could have been better.

This is a terrific hotel. Lobby is beautiful, of course with the restaurant being closed, somewhat inconvenient. Rooms are clean, comfy and updated. Stayed on top floor - nice and quiet too.

The lobby is used for social gatherings - tables need regular cleaning since food is brought in from outside. Mask wearing was not encouraged - there were several age 12 and under hockey teams staying, few adults thought masks were important.

The location was fantastic across the street from Ridgedale Mall and was only 10 minutes from downtown Minneapolis.

Only thing we didn’t like was room was warm 73 F when we checked in and you couldn’t use the thermostat to adjust temperature down as it was in winter mode till June , we obtained a fan from front desk which helped abit .

We had to cancel at another hotel at the last minute as their pool was broken and Sheraton was very accommodating. Great pool area and very comfortable rooms.

The charge for breakfast. The buffet wasn't any more special than buffet breakfasts that we get at other hotels for free.

The set up was wonderful. Easy to get to everything! Pool area was perfect!

We had a storm during our stay which let rain into 2 different rooms we stayed in! The tv only picked up 4 channels. The thermostat died at midnight, shutting off our air conditioning.

Clean, great location across from mall. Accommodated room requests quickly and effectively.

Low toilets. Breakfast nice-bit overpriced Corner Pantry was very expensive. $6 for a candy bar??

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was excellent. The bar was great, as was the bartender. The beds were REALLY comfortable - A+ for that. Delicious, strong coffee in the morning and free bags of ice in the morning for our cooler!

Just the fact that you didn't have more guests - I hope this improves for you!

Very good location to see all of Minneapolis and St Paul. safe, secure and comfortable rooms. Would stay again

Brilliant location, great breakfast. The service quality was just as good as my previous stays. And i intend to keep coming back
