Shore Haven Resort Inn

Our room was a studio efficiency, beds were comfortable, really nice sized kitchen with all pots and pans/utensils/dishes, micro, coffee maker, even an electric kettle which was a plus! Bathroom was a nice size and walk in shower. There is also a really nice walk-in closet/dressing room before you head into the bathroom. Beds were comfy, TV was fine, good AC. Pool was great (there are two as well as a hot tub on the property), loved all the tropical plants and palm trees, lots of lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. A good amount of parking and a very welcoming and friendly staff. It is very, very close to the main square of LBTS and right next door to town hall yet you did not hear much noise or traffic! Would definitely stay again!

Not much really, the rooms and furnishings/decorations are a bit dated but who cares? You're in FL and supposed to be outside enjoying the weather!

great walkable location

would have preferred a little daily cleaning, like mopping the bare floors, as our feet seemed to always get dirty when we walked barefoot in the room.

The rooms need some updates

i liked the kitchen, big closet and large bathroom. We have stayed here 4 times in the last 2 years and i expect to go back in a few weeks. I wouldnt stay anywhere else when in the area. walk to restaurants, stores and THE BEACH. Owner is a truly nice fellow. One of my friends wanted to come down for a week and i got her a room here also. Try it, I promise you'll enjoy yourself.

For romantic vacay, not until the AC units have been upgraded. Very loud and if you're a light sleeper, good luck. Other than the loud AC great place and friendly staff and great location.

Best location and friendliest people from the owners, to the guests that it attracts. Very safe place that’s great for families, couples, friends, singles. A majority of guests have been coming back to this no frills but clean, homey, boutique hotel for decades. It’s not the place for loud party animals but a great place to lounge with snacks and adult beverages. An amazing place to reside with multiple beautifully south Florida vegetated patios. Shorehaven has 2 outdoor pools, a hot tub, plenty of beach chairs, tables, a few barbecue grills and options to be in the sun or shade all day. Just across the road from the beach and a great farmers market on Sundays. There’s also a playground a block away. You don’t need a car to vacation here as everything is with in a few minute walk, stores restaurants ice cream! If you have a car there’s plenty of parking and it’s free. We will be back every year for decades to come if we are able.

Although the rooms are very clean they are outdated. This didn’t bother me too much, but this being our 2nd time stay and seeing multiple other rooms from the one we stayed in our first time to other guests rooms, I did not like the carpeting at all in our most recent place. Most rooms that I could see don’t have carpeting and being in humid S. Florida there was a slight constant musty smell from our carpeted space this time. Also we had a kitchenette this stay which we didn’t in our last. Cabinets and drawers need to be more updated as some of the facade of doors cupboards were coming apart and taped together. We saw other rooms with kitchenette that were fully intact.

This is the second time that we have stayed here in two years, and we always love the family who runs it as well as pretty much everything about this hotel and its location. It’s close to everything from grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies, ice cream parlors, a fishing pier, tourist stores with plenty of beach things, to public transportation. For a cool day trip, take bus 11 going toward the Central Terminal (stop is on the same side as the hotel, right at the municipal building next door), get off at the Galt Mile transfer point and go to route 72. Take 72 to the end and you will reach the Saw Mills Mall. It has everything and is huge. 72 will take you back to the Galt Mile, and then you can ride either route 55 or 11 to return back to Anglin’s Fishing Pier which is down the street from the Shore Haven Resort Inn. The hotel doesn’t have fancy bells and whistles, so to speak. It’s very basic and cute, and it does have two beautiful, clean and crystal clear pools, a hot tub, an on-site coin laundry facility, and some rooms have full kitchens stocked with essential dishes, glasses, mugs, utensils, and pots/pans. There is even a place to grab a few beach chairs or an umbrella for the beach. If you are looking for “posh” or “mod,” I’d advise that you to keep looking, but if you want a climate controlled place to sleep, with good WiFi, to bathe, to eat, and relax away from home that is available at a very excellent price, I’d highly recommend the Shore Haven Resort Inn.

I didn’t like some of the idiot guests who are total pigs and behave poorly - which is NOT the fault of the hotel owners, nor the managers. It amazes me that some adults behave worse than children or animals sometimes. Respect is a word that is becoming more and more scarce these days sadly. And cleaning services do NOT equal slavery.

The staff was incredibly inviting, laidback and friendly. The outdoor amenities were great: 2 nice, clean and warm pools, secluded, clean hot tub, gas bbq grills, tons of beautiful outdoor space. Rooms came with full size coffee pot, mini fridge, a hand blender and 6 glasses. Very convenient.

The bathroom while clean was very out dated and the beds were small for 2 adults, only a double vs a queen.

The location is perfect! This place won’t let you down for sure. They are also doing renovations so that’s pretty cool. The pool was great very relaxing and perfect temperature. The jacuzzi was hot as it should be and I enjoyed every bit of hotness. Staff are top tier! They treated my family so very kindly! This is my fourth time here and I’ll never choose another place!

Need to get rugs for the floors

We were in 123 with a beautiful view of the pool. It was an oasis right off the road!

A drink machine and snack machine would have been nice.
