I really loved the set up and it turned out to be just what I had hoped it would be. For breakfast I went to the Publix very near the hotel and bought breakfast items. We usually would swim in the pool for a little either before or after walking to the beach and swimming there. The ocean was wonderful and the area was not crowded with people. In the evening we would walk on the beach to an area with a lot of restaurants to eat at and then walk back through quiet streets. Two nights I cooked dinner for my kids. (Me the dad and two young girls 3rd and fourth grade.) We booked a taxi to and from the airport and never needed a car. We went to the Everglades and were picked up and returned as part of the tour. The hotel was perfect. A great kitchenette. The tv was not used (in the days of i- pads) not needed. The beds (oh the beds) were so comfortable. It was not the Ritz but what a great change of pace from expensive hotels. it turned out to be one of the best vacations I have had and by far the least expensive vacation since my college days.

What upset me most is that I hadn't booked my stay for a few more days.

The location of the property is ideal for a beach getaway. Only a few minutes walk to the beach and the pier filled with bars, restaurants, eateries and souvenir shops. Great to have a kitchen if you prefer to cook at home and save some money whilst in holiday. If you have a car I recommend doing a food shop further in land to get more for your money as opposed to the Publix nearby. Access the pool and outdoor facilities are an added bonus.

Could’ve been cleaner, mould in the bathroom and the grout in the floor tiles look like they need a good bleaching. A few hairs and stains in the bedding.

Friendly manager: Amy was friendly with a good smile and had a helpful attitude. The room was clean and bright. The guests living at the premise are generally friendly. The location is good too - close to the beach and not noisy. The area is safe, we felt.

We put up the door hanger for house cleaning on Day 5 of our 6-day trip. When we returned, there was no room service, and the door hanger was gone. We suspected the paper door hanger was blown away by the wind. It ended up the garbage had attracted some little flies, but we ended up trapping them in the garbage bag. Suggest using plastic doorhangers with some more weight than paper ones so that it won't be blown off and the room service people can be notified and take action in a timely manner.

Great location close to the beach, supermarket and restaurants, bars and shops in Lauderdale-by-the-sea. Staff were very nice to talk to and helpful. Great to have a kitchenette and pool, as well as some additional complementary items we could use. We'll be very happy to come visit again.

Iguanas have invaded the area and are eating lots of bushes. But this has nothing to do with Sea Garden by the Sea. Hopefully the city can do something about it. But they don't bother humans (iguanas, not the city). :)

The staff and guests were very friendly and helpful. Amy and her staff were very helpful and became 'family' after my two weeks stay. It was super close to any of the activities, restaurants and above all, a beauty of a beach! The pool was under some repair while I was there, but they had it up and filled in no time and we were able to enjoy the rest of the days there.

There are no safes in the rooms which was a little concerning at first. The air conditioner is a bit loud, but if you don't have trouble sleeping, it keeps you cool :)

Amy was lovely and very kind. The pool was heated and clean. Very close to everything. Publix, beach and restaurants. The beach was 2 blocks and so beautiful. Lots of hot water. Coin laundry with a little clothes line. Bed was very comfy, nice bedding, beach towels supplied.

There was nothing that was awful, Frying pan needed replacing we got by with what is there. It is a little retro but that wasn't a bad thing.

Location was excellent with grocery, drug and variety stores about half a block away. Good restaurants also very near. Staff was helpful and pleasant. We were in town for a cruise and they hooked us up with the most pleasant driver ... Lydia is a real gem. Our room was NOT spacious by any stretch of the imagination but it had everything we needed and a little more. The grounds are lovely and comfortable outdoor seating is provided. We would definitely stay again.

This location was perfect. A block from the beach and a few blocks from dining and bars; close enough to walk to but far enough it was not loud. The pool area was relaxing too.

The air conditioning was just 1 wall unit for the whole apartment, albeit a 1 bedroom unit. Not a huge issue for us because we spent most of the day away. Didn’t seem to cool the whole place. The unit was in the bedroom so we just kept the bedroom drawer closed and slept great! The couch was very uncomfortable too, but again, we weren’t there much to use it. The location, comfy bed, and pool were awesome.

I loved the people in my short time here the people at this location honestly felt like family. The set up was truly relaxing the short walk to the beach was also great a few blocks from the strip our vacation was amazing.

Tv was small but we were hardly in the room so no big deal. Really did not see staff like that but when I did accommodations were met.

Location was great, front office staff was very nice and helpful The room was spacious, it was nice to have a full size refrigerator. Shower water was nice and hot!!

The air conditioning could have been better, it was so noisy, and we had to keep it so low to reach the whole large room. There were no Air Conditioning vents in the bathroom so that was a little inconvenient, it was suffocating. Maybe a grate in the door would help the air?
