The location and boutique feel as well as the history. Lilly’s and Clark St. Diner!!! Having on-site parking is awesome!

It’s not really a dislike but our room had no place to hang clothes, no iron and no ironing board. And so think we were in a remodeled room! Bathrooms are great thought! The refrigerator was loud and looks like something we bought overseas!!! And all of the coffee provided was decaf! Elevator needs some attention!

Excellent location. Close to many sights or a short drive. Free parking..most hotels in the area charge 35 and up per day. Super nice staff. Super quiet room. Large room with sitting area, very comfortable beds. Separate little kitchen area..micro, fridge, coffee maker, sink. Huge bathroom..2 sinks and an enormous walk in shower. All throwback Hollywood decor..pictures, autographed etc. It was fun. Parking lot to room...short, easy. We had a big truck and owner made a special spot for our 5 day day.

This is not a super fancy new place It is unique in a good way. May not be a place for everyone.

Free carpark Great value for money considering central location Very clean rooms and helpful staff

Room in the pictures were the new rooms which are not furnished yet so we were forced to take the old rooms. Old rooms very clean but had not been maintained (loose tiles and handles in the room). New rooms would have looked onto highway so would be very noisy

This Best Western Plus has been completely remodeled in a fun, colorful retro style similar in some ways to the Trixie Motel series on that fantastical renovation in Palm Springs. For example, the fabric on our custom, upholstered headboards matched the wallpaper in one of the other rooms (we had booked 3 rooms for our extended family and requested that they be quiet and on the top floor if possible). The furniture is custom designed with solid metal bases painted in those same colors as is the base for the vanity in the bathroom, and pillow colors also match. There are large murals of famous actors, singers, and musicians on walls in the bedrooms and bathrooms, each is unique. The linens were great. Parking is free - a huge plus in pricey LA hotel market. We checked in late, and when we arrived the receptionist was able to put us all on the third floor close together, but one room was on the noisy side (facing the same level as the elevated 101 Freeway about a block away). She gave us the option to switch it for a quieter room on the second floor, which we did, and it was a great suggestion. LOVED walking and hiking in the windy streets of the Hollywood Hills, nearby Griffith Park, and the Hollywood Reservoir. Walked to the Metro station a few blocks away and took the red line to downtown to have lunch with a friend and visit the Broad Museum.

I left my comb and brush at home and asked the front desk if they might have one for guests - they did not and seemed to think it odd that I asked. Bath mat was not provided on either day so had to use a towel.

Very close to Hollywood Blvd about a 10 minute walk. I was there for a show at the Hollywood Palladium and was able to walk to and from the show. The area around the hotel is nice and there are a couple convenience stores within a few minutes. The diner next to the hotel was great! Good food and quick service. The hotel is under renovation so the rooms are a little space but are comfortable and very clean. Very friendly staff.

Water pressure in the shower but Ive found most LA hotels have low water pressure.

We stayed at the Adler for 9 nights. Our initial room was not the one we reserved. We were switched to another room the next day. Every member of the front desk staff was helpful. On-site parking is included and we always found a spot, no matter how late we came back to the hotel. Daily housekeeping was not available but we were able to get fresh towels and whatever else we needed at any time. Overall a nice stay.

Two of the light bulbs in the bathroom were burnt out and not replaced during our stay. They appeared to be a special type of bulb that may not be available any more. For women that like good lighting when getting ready for the day, it was a bit challenging.

Very clean, room was fair sized with a large bathroom and a kitchenette (sink, fridge, microwave) in it's own little nook. Old Hollywood theme was fun and well-executed. The location felt safe despite nearby overpasses. Overall very comfortable for four.

Small complaint, but only three towels were provided and tiny shampoo etc. The room was booked for four people and they had limited housekeeping (which I was totally happy with) so I felt there should have been more of those supplied for a three-night stay.

It’s a really nice hotel in Hollywood, walking distance from Hollywood Blvd. The staff is exceptional. When we first checked in they put us in a room in a separate building that didn’t have a dresser, chair, kitchenette or anything on the amenities list. I brought this up to the front desk and they immediately moved us into a new room that was larger and had everything!

When we checked in there was a person loitering in the lobby who was apparently staying in the hotel, and she continually harassed us asking what room we were in, could she use our cell phone…personal questions…the staff did their best to keep her in check but at one point i had to step in and make a stand, let her know she needed to stay away and leave us be. the staff called the police who eventually came and took report. i have t seen her since. also the hotel has limited parking and the garage entrance is for small cars. i tried to park our armada and the roof rails rubbed the overhead entrance. Also as far as choices to dine in the area, also limited and far as local..if you wanted to walk to a place it was not convenient.

The location of this little gem was great. Easy 10 min walk to Hollywood Boulevard. Free Dash bus stop right outside. Popular Diner right below reception.Only 5 minute walk to block with restaurants, cafes and supermarket. Rooms were clean and quirky with the retro Hollywood decor. Good AirConditioning . Good size bathroom. Room a little tight with two double beds but okay. Pool was clean and refreshing. Staff were great , smiling and helpful at all times. Especially Leo. Thought it was great value.

Shame ice machine wasn't working downstairs while we were there.
