location excellent, close to everything stayed for 7 nights, they gave me a corner room on third floor, very quiet, no problem sleeping excellent wifi speed 40Mbps or above at my room cleanliness if ok can get a kettle from recetion to boil water...but water comes with wierd taste. alternatively cold drinking water available at lobby.

no lift there is lunchhour at reception, and the receptionist ignores you even if you stand right there with your luggage...have to wait standing there for a whole half hour before getting my room. lunch hour aa i rmb it, lasted till 130pm. but this was never mentioned on website. if i knew there was a lunch hour, i would have got myself some lunch before arriving at hotel. night time staff on the other hand much more friendly

The place is located near the walk of fame, chinese theatres, ripley's museum, etc. The Griffith observatory, Mulholland Dr. are also close. The room comes with a fully equipped kitchen and silverware.

The place does not have a 24 hour front desk, so be prepared to arrive by 10 pm max or at least inform the hotel about your arrival time. We were lucky that the person at the reception stayed longer than his usual time to let us in. You do not need to opt in for the paid parking option provided by the hotel, there are cheaper and safe options available closer to the hotel. Park at 1726 N Cahuenga Blvd Parking - $10 overnight.

Feenandes was OUTSTANDING! Friendly, he assisted with everything we needed. I just left family in LaJolla and felt like I was around family again. Greatly appreciated him!

Andreas made me to believe he was upgrading me to the Marilyn room, he needed the ADA room, I was only staying there because of my love for Marilyn. He asked for me to pay additional money to move, I declined and he called back and said he upgraded me. I went to from the first floor all the way to the third floor and turns out ALL the rooms are the SAME

The hotel room was very clean. The location is convenient and luckily a bit outside of the Hollywood Boulevard buzz. The staff was very friendly and even though I was running late for my check-up, there weren’t any issues. I could also leave my suitcase there while further exploring LA.

I couldn’t figure out how the A/C was working but that might be just me. Also Hollywood isn’t what TV and movies present. It’s dirty, a lot of homeless people on the streets. A bonus for the hotel though that it’s rather away from these parts. I felt safe in the hotel area. By night I would still recommend to take an Uber even for 15 mins walking. This is more a LA review rather a hotel one.

The location was great- very easy to get to main sights in Hollywood. There was parking close by - we used one on Iver & Vine Street which was very reasonably priced. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

The room was a tad small but cosy enough with a table and chairs, fridge and plenty of shelving / clothes space as well as double bed. It was functional. The immediate area around the hotel seemed to have seem better days but that was true of all of this part of Hollywood. We felt it was safe walking around though.

The room was spacious and clean. The location is surprisingly quiet for Hollywood, especially surprising on a Friday night, but still an easy distance from lively areas. The staff was also really kind and helpful- the clerk who checked me in gave me some recommendations for food and drinks in the area; then I had trouble with my key card not working on my room at 1AM and the front desk was able to fix it very quickly despite the late hour.

There's no parking at the hotel, and the closest public parking lot is about 2 blocks away near Capitol Records (at least, the closest I could find). Not a huge distance, but can be a pain if you have a lot of luggage to haul back and forth.

The hotel location is great with plenty of public transportation options nearby, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, the outdoor space past the front desk is a nice tucked away quiet space.

Since breakfast isn't provided, I would have appreciated a microwave in the room, but that's just a small nitpick. Also, wifi or laundry information is only available on an info sheet at the front desk. There's no info sheet in the room for guidance if you didn't remember to note the wifi password at check in.

Staff was great. Very courteous and willing to guide in the city. Security in the hotel. We felt save in the area. Unfortunately everyplace in Los Angeles has homeless walking around (even beverly hills) because they seem to be approved to travel via bus and metro free... So... Having a safe place to rest was great. Bed was great.. A/C worked... All good. I would stay again definitely. Close to a metro station and the Hollywood main attraction walk of fame

The window blinds for my bathroom had broken steps so little privacy issue... But with an easy fix.

Location very central, close to Hollywood and Vine. CVS, laundromat and cafes/restaurants close by. Fernando who checked me in was so friendly and helpful. Facilities that I needed were all there - fridge, bed, good clean bathroom and shower. It’s good value for money in my opinion. I was also able to check in early as there was an available room.

I stayed on the ground floor which was convenient to move my heavy luggage and other stuff but I could hear people along the corridor and there was a banging somewhere which lasted for like 2 hours in the early morning.

The hotel is so so clean. It was amazing how clean it was. the facilities were great - laundry was excellent. The room was totally adequate & anything you needed like kettles & irons they could supply. It is in a good location

I would say the area has become a bit 'sad & there are some troubled souls' that are living on the streets.. I have travelled a lot on my own but would not have liked to have been here on my own. This is an area you need a buddy or your family, I think. I am talking about the surrounds only as the hotel itself was incredibly safe.
