Booked last minute to break up my trip. The hotel is small and cozy, very close to Venice Beach right near the end of Washington Blvd( 5 min walk). Only a 15 min Uber ride from LAX. Comfortable bed and pillows, very clean. Mini fridge and coffee maker a bonus! Nice bath products. Friendly staff. Lots of options for dining super close and a deli/ convenience store right next door.. Get a coffee from The Cows End...a Venice institution. Over all a good experience .

My room was across the road from a restaurant/ bar that played loud music till about midnight so it was hard to sleep after my long flight

This Boutique hotel was very clean, modern decor, the staff were very polite and helpful, check in & out was easy, it had a cute little courtyard to sit in and have a coffee or read in. A lift up to the rooms. The Staff helped us with getting a taxi and any other questions we had about where to do our laundry & questions about the area. Very close to walk to the beach, Restaurants & Bars also a convenience store /bottle shop a few shops down for great coffee/alcohol/food and snacks. A definite bonus. Starbucks across the road too. Would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend to others.

i have stayed here many times over the years. It is an ideal set up if your goal is mainly to have a place to stay in a great location with great value. There are no ammenities....it is not your typical hotel. I like the decor ( beach/vintage). I noticed that since Covid, they have taken away things like the robes and there are no more breakfast. They used to offer a continental breakfast. Staff is very friendly.

The Inn needs a little refresher on the common areas like the outdoor patio ( furniture decor needs update). Bathroom needs a little TLC ( base boards; new bath tubs et.al). Fresh coat of paint.Overall it is still a good set up!

Perfect location and parking area is more useful.

There is no breakfast service. Actually the hotel is in the center position of venice beach so u can find lots of places which are many restaurant you can have breakfast. But anyhow breakfast must be in the hotel.

Check in was manned 24hrs, staff were very helpful. Room was spacious and very clean. Bathroom was clean. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Great location for cafes and restaurants nearby and also Marina Del Rey, Venice Beach and the Canals within a few minutes walk.

Minor point: Only a coffee machine to make drinks, would have preferred kettle and cups. Also used a lot of plastic pods and packaging and we did not like the drinks. We were advised by our taxi driver not to go out after 10:30 at night and there was a lot of homelessness in the area. There was an incident one morning at a cafe with a man waving a syringe around which was very unpleasant.

awesome location just a couple blocks from the beach. great staff, very helpful and willing to meet our needs and answer questions. it was a little cold during our stay, but the courtyard would be great when it’s warm.

luckily there weren’t any partyers staying next to us, could hear foot traffic and voices when people were passing our door. restaurant next door had loud music, but could only barely hear it at night.

The location of this hotel is just great; close enough to the beach to reap the benefits, but far enough away from it not to have the disadvantages of hearing loud music all day and night. Parking is well priced at USD 22 a night and the rooms are spacious with comfy beds. And last but not least; staff members were very friendly - thanks in particular to Stefi for making the extension of our stay a very smooth process. Highly recommended!

Even though we did get a quiet room as requested (i.e. not facing the street), it was somewhat noisy at some nights when other guests got back to the hotel. This seems to be inevitable due the acoustics of the building, so maybe some signs may be posted asking guests to keep their voices down at night. Other than this, we truly had a great stay here! NB: For a nice breakfast - go visit Great White (within walking distance of the hotel). This has been one of the best places for breakfast we came across during our 3 week trip across the US.

The bed was comfortable but the pillows flatten easily; the view from balcony was Good, but there is NOT a “NO Smoking” sign to NOT smoke on your OWN RENTED balcony. if its a non smoking building, then that should have been posted or stated to the guests, which it was not.

There is a door for privacy for the toilet & shower; however when it is opened, the door completely blocks the toilet & you can walk into the shower. if you close the door you can use the toilet. it is a 3.5x 3.5 closet at best, with a tub & toilet. which is absolutely ridiculous !

Perfect location, literally steps away from cool bars, restaurants and the beach. Not to mention right next door to the venice canals; the most beautiful serene area of Venice Beach. Friendly, welcoming staff. Nice spacious room.

Tiny, outdated bathroom, grubby bath hadn't been thoroughly cleaned for some time and had to squash around the door against the wall in order to close the bathroom door to use the toilet. Room was perfect, bathroom needs some work.

Very happy we booked this place. Super location on a 5 min walk to the beach, the Mexican restaurant is also nice for a meal if you arrive later in the evening. A lot of nice bars/restaurants in the area. The room was quiet, beds comfortable, clean (every day), very spacious. Staff is friendly. Def reccomend.

The stress about only being able to park if there is parking available if you arrive (first come first serve) is ridiculous. There is so much parking available on the compound of the hotel, also charging 25 USD or more for it is a little bit to much given the amount of places available. This in combination with having to stress about not arriving late and not having a spot, and then also have to pay for a "first come first serve spot" is def a negative aspect. Paying fine, but then i want no stress upon arrival.
