The location is great: ten minutes from the beach but not “beachy”. Close to grocery stores and amenities. The room and general areas were hip and spotless.

There was no bar soap provided, which is just a personal preference. The rooms facing Sepulveda are loud, even with the air con and a white noise machine on. We needed a crib and the staff said it would be in our room upon check-in and it wasn’t. When we reminded the clerk upon checking-in, they forgot a second time.

Our room was so comfortable and there was such a great atmosphere at the hotel. Areas outside to hang out and play games and then the pool/hottub. The food served for breakfast was really good. There is a store across the street (like Whole Foods) that we could get good food at as well. It was in a great location,, very safe, and loved Hermosa Beach area!

It is a little far from the beach. I would have preferred to be closer. We had to walk and Uber more than I expected.

Spacious room fully equipped with coffee machine and microwave. The hotel is a good 20 min walking distance from the beach. Staff is friendly and helpful

Lack of animation in the hotel. There are plenty of nice amenities, but no-one to really motivate guests to use them: for example the breakfast/bar area, the fire places, etc... Pool is fairly small and unattended...

No breakfast available just coffee a few choices menu wise. Close to retail, The Pier and many eateries.

Have to request room service 24 hours in advance. City view rooms, very very noisy because 1 mile distance between 2 hospitals, ambulance runs, and the hotel right on corner of a major and busy intersection.

You can tell that they put effort into their hotel which it’s great to see considering their nightly cost isn’t the cheapest. It’s convenient enough to the beach and I appreciate that they have parking even if it does cost $16+ a night. The pool and the hot tub were less than desirable. However the comfort of the bed was unmatched. I’ve stayed in plenty hotels motels and Airbnb’s and I’ve never been so satisfied with the comfort of a mattress. They weren’t doing cleaning service for the three nights I stayed there which I don’t have a problem with because #ClimateChange and #laborshortage I’m sure, but I’m sure you could’ve requested it if you needed it. The staff are all very friendly, kind, move quickly, and had no issues with accommodations. I was in and out for check in and check out and anything in between which I appreciated. Besides the smell of marijuana several times coming in and out of the parking garage and ones from a neighbor I had no other issues with guest staying there. I appreciate the effort they put into designing the rooms and overall would likely stay again just based on the bed, service, location

near the beach without all the hustle of the touristy area. you have an amazing logo. staff was great - friendly, accommodating, welcoming to guests, looked you in the eye while talking to you.

were were checked in a few hours late bc the hotel was behind on cleaning rooms. however it gave the ability for the staff to shine and be personable in the situation.

Everything was great. Comfy bed, and clean. Location wasn't bad. We were able to make a 15-20 walk to the beach.

Walls are thin. You can hear everything that goes on in the bathroom. Ours and neighbor. Also the shower head needs cleaning. A lot of lime build-up.

The location is great, local amenities close by.

The walls are very thin between each room so we heard the room next to us till 4:30am!! The loft room is a good size for 2 but not 4 when the sofa is pulled out into a bed.

I got a room with a loft and loved walking up the stairs and seeing the view over the city to the ocean. The terrace was great; I had the same amazing view of the city and ocean. The location was perfect, both for walking (or driving, if a mile is too far) down to the beach and for all of the other things I did while in town. Finally, I like that once we checked in, we did not have to go into the lobby. We could go straight from the parking lot to our floor and to our room.

We arrived a couple hours early and the room wasn't ready. That was fine but when we came back about 15 minutes before check in time, it still wasn't ready. I don't think it was ready on time, but we left to do something else (get food) rather than sitting around the hotel.

A great & safe location to explore all the sites and beaches of LA. Family friendly and safe. It was just a few minutes driving distance from the beach and eateries. A beautiful organic grocery is located directly across the street.

The plumbing needs to be renovated.
