From the very friendly reception to the equally friendly checkout, the staff were all friendly. Some of the parking is covered, which was really nice. The room was clean and everything worked (including the wifi.) It is a short drive to the beach. Quiet area which seems very safe. The rooms all look out on the parking area with a courtyard feel. The price was very reasonable! I would highly recommend and will definitely be staying again!

Everything was more than satisfactory! The parking is limited, but even if I had to park on the street outside it would have been fine. Street parking might not be as convenient but not bad.

I was in room 49 which had a kitchenette that was spacious with a 2 burner gas stove. The decor was nice as if recently updated. I could not find a coffee pot so went out for breakfast early to get coffee. This was a good solution for me so I did not ask for a coffee maker to be supplied. The motel is convenient to many businesses within a mile or two. I wanted a specific one, so I did not check the local 1-2 blocks I could have walked to, but just drove the mile to my favorite. The clientele seemed like my neighbors at home. The motel is close to Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach areas. I visited the Redondo Beach Pier but not Manhattan Beach this time. I was there for family matters. The bathroom and shower were very nice; larger than many for the same sized bedroom. The closet was ample and had enough hangers for several days' clothes. The parking lot was small but adequate for cars and regular SUV's.

My last 2 nights, I could hear the neighbor's tv running in the wee hours of the night; noise maximal at bathroom wall but could be heard as a low roar from the bed. I did not complain since I could sleep, and the tv was not terribly loud. Again, this was only noted my last 2 nights there. I don't know what could have been done if that guest really wanted to watch tv at 4 am.

What a gem! I was in the South Bay for a few days on my own dime so I was looking for something affordable. I lived a few blocks away for 9 years and vaguely remember driving by this motel. I never would have thought of staying there except that it had Excellent ratings on booking.com. It is one of those old school motels I remember staying in when I was a kid with 2 levels and parking in the center. However, it was way nicer than I was expecting. The room was nicely upgraded with laminate flooring (no nasty carpet), a fridge, microwave and TV and a very clean bathroom with a walk in shower. This will be my go to lodging anytime I am in the area.

One of the reasons that the motel is so nice is that the people and town of Redondo Beach and the beach cities are so nice and accommodating. That makes for a pleasant, overall trip. There is a Starbucks and Chick Fillet within easy walking distance (and probably other convenient eateries, etc.) The beach cities are crowded with traffic. It might not be a bad idea to learn the transit system.

What I didn't like was that there was not adequate parking for all the guests. But there is plenty of parking on Artesia Boulevard and on the side streets. Also, you can park off the street at the library on Green Lane all night long but you have to moved your car by 7:30 a.m. (I checked that out with the staff at the North Branch of the Redondo Beach Library.)

The neighborhood is quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. The closet is roomy. There was liquid detergent and a sponge for washing the dishes and cutlery in the kitchenette as well as knives and a cutting bread. We could make mushroom omelettes for dinner and hard-boiled eggs for breakfast. I could leave the windows open and did not need the air conditioner. For those who need coffee, there is Starbucks just opposite the motel.

I wish there were more space for toiletries in the bathroom.But there was space in the chest of drawers placed in the bedroom near the bathroom door.

The place was super clean the management was very friendly and responsive to any issues. The room received maid service every day. The location was a little bit out of the way but on the bus line and I was able to get to some of the places I wanted to go. The room was very large and had a fridge and microwave. The room was also a very good condition.

There was no coffee maker in the room but they did provide coffee at the front desk once it opened. The bed was not very comfortable.

this is our 2nd time staying. Last time we had a ground floor room for 1 night. This time we got a suite style room for 3 nights and could have stayed longer; with a small lounge and a larger bathroom, on the upper level, with bedroom window out the back of mountains and city which we greatly appreciated. This time our stay was even more comfortable than our previous stay. It was also cold in LA this time, and we needed to use the heater, which worked well (albeit a bit noisy when sleeping). There is a good amount of hanging space & hangers. We appreciated the the lounge/ sofa seating. The size of the bathroom with bath and shower feature, and great hot water pressure. A good supply of toilet roll and conditioning shampoo / soap was provided. There is also a convenient coin laundry facility. the Owner is friendly, kind and professional. Our flight was late arriving, & he offered to help us find parking if none were available on the property by the time we got there, which was comforting as we were very tired and jetlagged. The wifi worked really well too. The bed was a good size and super comfortable and clean. The room was clean, and maintained every day by housekeeping, with fresh towels. We loved the location as it is centrally located to everywhere we needed to drive to in LA, and only about 15-20 minutes to LAX airport with lots of options for food, drink, dining within walking distance. We like staying in Redondo / Manhattan beach area as it feels safer, clean. Would definitely stay again as it is now our go-to in LA. The area is not too loud, and the room was facing the back of the property, so we slept well.

Our stay was great, so minor improvements -- the heater/AC was a little noisy. The property has limited parking to the amount of rooms available, but there is street parking.

The location was great and we had everything close by. Only one day we had to leave the car outside and we had no problems. The room was very spacious and had a large closet where we could leave all our luggage tidy. The room was always clean and tidy when we returned in the evenings. We really liked it very much.Our plus for choosing this place was the kitchen and it was very useful for us to be able to eat at ease during the evenings.

There are only details missing that do not negatively affect a stay in this place. I would only add having a kettle, clothes hangers in the closet and in the bathroom there is a lack of shelves to leave toiletries or where to hang wet clothes or towels.
