I have travelled to St Maarten for over 30 years. This old school Caribbean Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, and is, in my experience, far superior to resorts I have stayed in. For a TRUE Caribbean experience, this is your place Tip: Don’t rent a car. Experience all of Phillipsburg on foot and request cab for day trips at front desk. Cab fares are regulated on St Maarten. Taxi Fares will rarely exceed the going $40/day rental fees, let alone insurance and damage concerns

Absolutely nothing

Location was perfect for walking around and getting to the cruise port. However, taxi station is about one block from the hotel. While exploring, I asked one of the many available drivers at the station what he would charge for the taxi ride to the cruise terminal. I was told $7 total for two of us for the ride including luggage. As other drivers nodded in agreement, he said to let them know when we were ready. I suggest you make arrangements there rather than through Seaview. After asking at the desk how much it would cost, the lady told me $7 or $8. Thus I let her call the taxi. Price when we arrived at the port was $35!

Fantastic location! What they have remodeled is really good. The staff was fantastic and very helpful. Beach chairs and umbrella being included is fantastic. Great pool. Great bar area and that staff is fantastic. A full store on site is very convenient. Restaurant on site convenient.

Some areas have not yet been remodeled, but are still fine, but will be better when remodeled.

Location was excellent. Beautiful beach, great proximity to shops and cruise ships. Employees were wonderful. Great pool.

Hotel is old and needs a " facelift ". Curtains let too much night light in. Door between my room and other guests allowed all conversations to be heard, ugh, thin cheap door. Down at bar, barstools so low I couldn't eat at bar.

Beautiful setting with infinity pool just behind the beach, with hotel beach chairs. Beach/pool bar. Plenty of lounge chairs and tables around the pool. Room was good and spacious, bathroom fine . Staff extremely helpful to help us rearrange plans when the boat to Saba the previous evening had to come back.

Not much, a little wall damage in the room.

Excellent location, great wifi. Our ferry was cancelled and it was a great location to wait for the ferry the next day. The staff were very helpful.

There wasn’t a kettle, so we just boiled water on the stove.

The staff is very friendly and their respond to all my questions in my e-mails before the check in date was very good, they responded very quickly I loved the location and looking forward for my stay next year at Sea View Hotel! Highly recommended!

Oke, a microwave in the room, would be nice.

The location was extremely good it was in perfect 🚶‍♀️ walking distance to and from endless of shopping malls and shopping centers also a stone throw away from the beach ⛱ . Have already recommended to family 👪

That their wasn't any hot water kettle or microwave in my room. I love my tea but I don't drink coffee

Nice and clean. From lobby to rooms to restaurant/bar downstairs. Had a place to eat breakfast and lunch right next door. This is also a store to buy anything you may need. Dinner at Seaview was delicious. Met owner. He carried our bags and was very nice.

The location was perfect, every store close. Walk distance. Perfect to relax and pool was fabulous. Staff was friendly and ready to assist when needed.
