The room was very big, an apartment actually with a full kitchen. The style of the decor was probably 1980/90. Bed very comfortable. Towels a bit oldie. Reception staff very nice and helpful. Wifi works well. I had a lovely view over the beach. Right below the hotel there's a nice restaurant and many cafes around. You are on the beach board walk and you have all kinds of shops available. Within walking distance you have a taxi stand.

The staff , location, large step in shower and the ocean view was spectacular

Hard to access to drop off bags, no parking on site, mold in our closet and kitchen, stove covered in rust. We reported the mold but no one came to clean it. We did get our loose bathroom faucet repaired. The bedroom had a window to the hallway which was really loud.

Excellent central location, right on the beach and right in front of the new year's fireworks display, friendly & helpful staff.

It would have been nice to have some basic outdoor furniture on the balcony such as a table and a chair so didn't have to bring the chair from the room back and forth if wanted to sit outside for longer.

Our stay was perfect restaurant all around breakfast in the lobby couldn’t ask for better location and the Hospitality was excellent the treatment we received was professional and they were very courteous. Yes most definite my place to stay on our return very soon.i most definitely recommend this hotel. And by the way the view front our room and living room was breath taking.

I CANNOT understand the low B.C rating for this excellent property !! It is right on the beach overlooking the beach, bay, the cruise ships and Statia. It is imaculately clean with excellent maid service daily. I have a spacious apartment, well designed, comfortably & tastefully furnished with full kitchen at about 1/4 the cost of some island resort. Quiet. The "board walk" in front is deserted after dark. The checkin was speedy, the reception is polite and very helpful. The bathroom is large, the shower huge with lots of hot water. Beds are large and very comfy. ACs in Living room and in bed room very effective, and function event when the apt is unoccupied. They drove me to a laundry and picked up and returned my clean laundry. It is right at the center of the main drag with shops and restaurants surrounding. There is a full service hotel virtually next door with restaurant & bar. The beach in front is beautiful, clean, not too crowded, with all facilities. Near the dock for the ferry to St. Barth. I am so happy that for once I ignored the low rating and am staying here and not some overpriced noisy isolated resort.

Nothing not to like

There was no breakfast offered, which we knew about before hand, but they did brew some delicious coffee starting at 7 AM. The big plus was being right across from the beach and even my view from the back of the hotel offered a view from the balcony of both the ocean and the hills. It is also right next to a beautiful Catholic Church and hearing the choir practice was an event that brought good tears to my eyes. And I'm not even Catholic. And the Bold Buddha, right under the hotel and on the beach served THE BEST Coconut Shrimp.

I liked everything

I liked the location ,the pictures were the same in real,the staff was helpful. The room was clean , I felt safe, and I would recommend anyone to stay there

No parking, but that's not the fault of the hotel

The view was amazing, the hotel was clean and amazing the beds were awesome

The fact that we had to park so far from the hotel that's the only thing we didn't like

Please improve cleaning, the apartment was really not clean :-(
