The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they allowed us to get changed and stay by the pool till the room was ready. The room was spacious, air conditioned, with fridge, microwave other smaller appliances for coffee and tea. We were not aware of any noise as we were far enough from the parties in the village. The balcony had cool breezes and the bird serenades to enjoy. The cost was a little more than other hotels, but was worth it. Unfortunately, it was off season and the chef was away for a month. Breakfast was good. The free welcome cocktail and the arrangement with beach restaurants was a benefit.

It is unfortunate that the booking mentioned the restaurant but neglected to mention that it would be closed on the dates we stayed there. Overall very nice convenient and quiet place to stay with modern rooms.

The whole hotel compound was in an incredible location, close to the beach, but secluded. We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa on the street above the reception, and the views of the water were spectacular from the deck. A simple walk down for breakfast and to use the beautiful pool area. Being affiliated with the 5 beach clubs is an excellent addition to this already amazing property.

For me personally, everything about this property met or exceeded expectation. If I had to pick one area of improvement, maybe I would say the breakfast, but that is a reach as it was already pretty good, and it was included.

We had a wonderful room, the King Sea View suite. It was large and had adequate space for our 10-day stay. The view from the balcony was stunning. Everyone was very helpful, and the room very clean. One morning we woke up to water by the TV that seeped in from the adjacent room ... they were right on it, cleaning and attending to the leak next store.

The pool is small, and surrounded by tables so not a relaxing atmosphere if you want to use a pool. We went to the beach everyday, so it didn't matter to us but I was glad we weren't depending on it..

Great location. Clean and spacious rooms. The restaurant was absolutely great: very romantic setting, good food. Great that there is a deal voor beds and umbrellas with the restaurants on the beach. Friendly staff, good service.

The bar only opened around 6pm. It would have been great to be able to have a drink at the pool also before that time. A lot of families with kids stay here. It was great for us, since we were with our family as well, but if you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway, it might be less suitable.

I booked the room on booking and it said it was two twin beds and a sofa bed in the room. It was not. You must send a message to the hotel requesting two beds and they may or may not be able to grant that request. Not a problem for most couples, but i frequently travel with a friend or my adult children and sharing a bed is less than ideal!

Been to this property several times. It is very well managed. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. We like the private setting and outdoor space with view. Beach towels and complimentary chairs on beach were a plus.

While during our stay we experienced a 36 hour power outage un related to La Plantation. I thought they could have done a little more to improve the comfort like keeping lights on near pool for reading etc. Not a complaint we made out fine.

The location was perfect, and we preferred the styling and privacy better than the more expensive yet generic and commercial looking Orient Bay hotel. We were amazed by the extensive breakfast buffet included which greatly increased the value and delight of our stay at la Plantation. The kitchen area and large shaded terrace were great additions to our room and we loved their pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they were able to accommodate our early arrival. Definitely will recommend to others and come back to visit on our next stay in Saint Martin!

Some of the bathrooms were a little dated compared to others that were remodeled after the hurricane, but the size and private locations more than made up for that little detail.

Everything went way above and beyond what was expected. This was my 4th time staying here and every time the service, facilities, staff and atmosphere have been excellent. I accidently forgot an important notebook in my room after I left and they arranged to get it to me within 2 days of my return to the US. Very special thanks to the exceptional staff-Daniella, Sherry and Abimael!

There is nothing I didn't like at La Plantation

Lovely pool area and restaurant in the evening was amazing with excellent staff.

Surprisingly breakfast was just ok. Limited selection, they were out of basic things like jam and milk for coffee and staff was not particularly helpful. You can choose from five locations for beach chairs and umbrellas, but you are not allowed to have a chair in the front row. For some you have to make reservations for a chair in advances

The room was gorgeous with an amazing view. Very spacious. Everything we needed. The staff were very reactive and friendly. They were there to cater to our needs. The restaurant was good and breakfast buffet as well.

No hot water in the shower.
