Apartment was great. I wanted a quiet vacation and this delivered. The apartment was spotless and well-decorated. I loved the balcony (with drying rack, table and chairs) and water view. You can hear the sea from the apartment- so relaxing. Two beach chairs and an umbrella are in the apartment. Pool is restored. There are chairs there as well.

Walk from the parking lot is a bit long - but walkway is paved so you can roll luggage on it. The complex is on a hill and it is the price to pay for a great view. The water went out a few times, but an island issue. Apartment had spare water available for emergencies. I bought bottled water for drinking.

Well equipped studio, pretty design inside, great view, well equipped kitchen with full complement of spices, a very pleasant stay. The owners were very organized and timely in their instructions to get there and receive keys. The location of Mt Vernon residences is overlooking the West end of Orient Bay. We walked to Orient Bay village every day, 1500m for Wingfoiling. Kitesurfers could launch from just in front of Mt Vernon residences if experienced. The Mt Vernon residence also has a pizzeria and a grocery shop for all basic foods and liquor. The unit faces South overlooking Orient Bay. A nice view for sunrise and evenings.

Nothing at all. Having a car would be nice, but not necessary if you like to walk.

The apartment has the most incredibly beautiful view of Orient Bay. The apartment is quite large for a studio and is very comfortable with everything you need. Also provided were chairs for the beach and a beach umbrella so you could walk down to the beach below and sunbathe there in privacy, as it is at the far end of Orient beach. The owners, brothers Thiboult and Amaury, were very helpful when we contacted them and we dined in their wonderful restaurant Bistro Caraibes, Grand Case, twice during our stay in St Martin which has fabulous food. The apartment is in a well looked after complex (Mont Vernon) - which has a little shop which was well stocked and a pizzeria which was excellent. I would suggest that anyone coming here book car hire as the complex is a distance away road wise from the rest of Orient Bay which has some lovely restaurants and a great little french cafe for breakfast. Car hire is reasonably inexpensive on St Martin.

Excellent place to stay: Location: close to most of the places on the island. Host: The best host I ever seen. Responded in a mins. Owner of convenience store very friendly Parking: parking is normal despite of many reviews; 5 min walk to property depends on where you stay Comfort: mattress is great, AC works good and quiet. Shower is good.

Everything was excellent. Just keep in mind if you have people with problem walking - you can not bring your car to the door of apartment. It is 5 minutes' walk to the apartment from the car no matter where you stop

The property itself was really nice and it had everything. Be the location was very far from any shops etc . The beach was nice but a lot of sea grass and rough sea, there were a few beaches which were much better but you have to walk 25 minutes and when it is hot it was problematic . There was a nice large pool but there were no umbrellas so not shade at all .

As I said the property itself was nice , clean etc . It was more the location that was far and no clean beach and no shade .

The units are perfectly located on the quiet end of Orient Beach, but everything is accessible by strolling down the beach. We had a great view of the ocean and were close to the pool and beach. Everything worked great for us.

Parking can be hectic, but the dirt lot was close to our unit and has plenty of space. I could see that if you are mobility-challenged it could be difficult. Some of the units were being remodeled so there was on occasion a little construction noise but not a constant annoyance.

Lovely well-appointed studio overlooking the beach. Wonderful to sit on the balcony enjoying the view and listening to the waves. A 10-15 minute walk gets you down to the restaurants and beach clubs but here it is a quiet corner tucked into the end of Orient Beach- best of both worlds. Amaury, the owner, is very helpful and welcoming. Looking forward to returning.

The location and being on the lower level where we could leave through the balcony was great for walks. The beach is awesome. We walked it almost every day. Being at the end of the complex seemed more private and safe.

Getting from the top of Mount Vernon to the apartment wasn’t good. Very difficult getting luggage and groceries to the apartment. If you have any mobility issues or can’t carry stuff very far, should stay somewhere else.

Location, view of the ocean, walking distance to the pool and beach. Very clean, everything was as showed in the photos. Amaury agreed with a late check out as our flight was in the afternoon

We needed to carry the luggages from the parking to the villa, as you have to go up on a hill

Located about a 15 minute beach walk from all the beach restaurants of Orient Bay. For us the perfect spot, also for gooiing to Pinel island. Very nice view of the beach and mountains. Very nice accommodation.

There are no facilities in the neighborhood for rental cars.
