We stayed for five nights and the breakfast was exactly the same every day. I’d like some variation, especially in the hot dishes and vegetables. I do spend around 80 nights every year in different hotel chains in Norway and you need to upgrade the breakfast to be in the top, according to me. But the young girls who worked there were fantastic, service minded and happy! Very good! We got a handicap room with a small wardrobe. Not suitable for two persons for five nights.

When I checked into the room there was a dirty pillow and a dirty duvet cover on my bed - During the two days I stayed, no one cleaned the room. I had to specially ask the staff to take out the trash and change the towels - Some reception staff should be more polite - Wi-fi went off during my stay. The staff said that their provider decided to update the system and the network stopped working. As a result, there was no wi-fi from 1:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. I couldn’t work and the saddest thing was that I missed the US Open final. I understand that this wasn't the hotel's fault, but management should have a backup plan for such cases. Or they should compensate clients for these inconveniences, because choosing a hotel we also paid for the opportunity to use wi-fi all of the time

We got a free upgrade to a room with an outstanding lake view. The windows cover the whole wall. Breakfast is super rich, and the service people will not disturb you even if you sit there half an hour after breakfast ends (only ask if you need anything when they start closing the buffet). The standard room is large and convenient. Many options on the TV. Extended our stay from two to four nights, as we enjoyed it so much (and there are enough hiking places around). The direct airport bus, which comes every 20 minutes, stops in front of the hotel. The hotel is next to a pleasant lake, and 5 minutes from the old city and the touristic port area.

Nothing to note. A perfect hotel!

Out of 7 accomodations we stayed in on our long trip through Norway, Radisson was easily the best. The hotel is in the centre of Stavanger, right next to a bus stop (for airport shuttle bus and tour buses), some of the rooms have a view of a beautiful lake with a fountain in the middle. We were happy to have a spacious, quiet and clean air-conditioned room with a minifridge, kettle, ironing facilities, and a strong Wifi. We also liked the large soft bed and the large TV in front of it. Blackout curtains were a real life-saver, as they let us sleep through the Norwegian midnight sun (we stayed in late June). The bathroom had a great and spacious shower with a big shower head (in other Norwegian hotels, it's like 7 cm in diameter for some reason). There was also a zoom mirror which is very convenient for makeup. The heated bathroom floor was a really nice touch. The breakfast (served from 6.30 am on weekdays/7.00 am on weekends) was exceptional: soft- and hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, potatoes, veg, sausages, chicken bacon (not too salty like in other places), fruit, desserts, homemade-quality jams, 3 types of smoked salmon, cheeses (normal and white-mold), patè, freshly pressed orange juice, pancakes, tons of various muesli-making stuff like seeds, dried fruits, and so on.

Nothing really. Maybe, just as a recommendation: it would be great to have an option of separate duvets, so that both people can better adjust their sleeping temperatures.

visited over new year, we had the warmest welcome on arrival and initially were given the superior suit which had the most amazing views over the lake with a balcony (great for watching all the fireworks over next years across the city) slight issue with shower not draining but as soon as this was raised (within 15 mins) the hotel staff looked to resolve, as this was on New Year’s Day there were no maintenance staff so we were kindly moved to a new (premium) room! everyone was so helpful and we had a lovely note to apologise the following day! breakfast was really good, lots to choose from with a good variety of healthy options! the hotel is in a really good location, 5 mins walks to the harbour for the cruise tour and close to lots of restaurants and bars! we ate in the hotel restaurant on new years and even though it was a limited menu the burgers was top notch!!! overall we had an amazing stay, and would highly recommend staying here! I’m sure in the summer there is lots more going on but we didn’t run out of things to do in our 4 day stay! thank you Raddison blu!

Too many people at the breakfast, only one or two coffee machines, needed to wait for eggs, croissant, coffee and all the basics because the kitchen couldn't cope with the demands. The view from the standard rooms gives on a parking lot with road works, not the best... The room did not get made on day 1, we had to specifically ask for it

Lovely hotel with a perfect location, just near the beautiful park seen from the room, sauna and fitness centre. When we arrived, the system got messed up, and the room assigned to us was not cleaned up yet, but we got an upgrade and were assigned to an even better room. I would like to especially mention the receptionist Bernard (if I remember correctly) - super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb; nothing to complain about. We enjoyed the gym (but it misses the barbell) and sauna. Overall, I would really suggest this hotel to anyone visiting Stavanger.

The room is rather on the small side. Would be nice to have Netflix on TV.

The breakfast was great. A wide selection of food to choose from. Location of hotel was great. Loved the fact that it ran on renewable energy.

I thought there was a shuttle van from the airport to the hotel. Read that in a review. Turned out not to be the case. I tried to contact the hotel via phone and email to find out once I arrived. Communication was difficult to reach a staff member. There should have been info about the hotel room whether in writing or on the tv. Like leaving your hotel room pass in the holder inside the room to keep your electricity on and hotel service’s offered. There was WhatsApp with a virtual assistant but I am a believer in the human touch too. Rooms were cleaned late in the day but maybe as an American I had an earlier schedule than the Norwegians due to it staying light so long.

The location of the property was perfect for us. The view from our hotel room overlooking the lake with Swans and ducks was magical.  The breakfast variety was wonderful and included vegan options. The extra added security of needing to use your room card to access your floor was comforting. The beds were comfortable with the fresh white linens that make everything seem cleaner. Being able to access the marina area and getting to the bus terminal added to our appreciation of the hotel location.
