Comfort Hotel Square

LOVE the location! The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the old town with tons of places to eat, shop and take Fjord tours! The most lovely and large breakfast buffet is included in the price, with a lovely area to eat - which makes this a super deal.

The bed is very soft and bouncy. This might not be a problem for some, but definitely will be for others. Also, the decor is kind of…. weird. Plus, there are full mirrors in the bathroom so you can watch yourself shower and every other thing. If, however you don’t wish that, you can slide those mirrors to the side so the entire room can watch… Again, not necessarily a bad thing - just odd.

super quiet room, comfortable bed, good signage, drinkable water, good shower/bathroom, fine temperature, friendly, helpful staff, super location, wonderful guidance booklet, plentiful sockets and lights in room, lift and stairs easily accessible, 24/7 reception, free buffet breakfast and extra room items nearby as needed. no disturbing daily cleaning and better for environment. Great value for money.

a better labelled range of vegan breakfast items would have been ideal. could have had a more secure toilet seat in room (was very loose)

Breakfast was excellent, the variety of choice exceeded our expectations. Location was also very good, walking distance to everywhere in the centre. Room was small but comfortable. Overall, very good value for money.

The pillows were a little uncomfortable and only one was available per person in the room. I am sure we could have solved this problem by asking the staff though, we just didn't bother in the end.

Very good location. City Center is within an easy walk. There is a little supermarket right next door. Parking is around the corner. Great curtains for sleeping even though it is bright for long hours.

Beds are a little too soft, showers were not working properly. The shower has no proper door, so half the bathroom will be soaked.

Super convenient to downtown Stavanger- short walk to the harbor and downtown. Quick grocery next door. Only downside was expensive parking but that's downtown I guess. Breakfast was a little disappointing compared to other Comfort Hotels I stayed at but still decent.

Exceptional breakfast - not the biggest range buffet I've had but wonderful individual elements. Interesting building layout. Cute rooftop terrace thing (not sure the weather would ever be good enough to really enjoy it but). The room was fine. Good location.

I mean, I wish it had been cheaper, but what can you do. Room lacked some basics (e.g. kettle and tissues).

The location was fairly good. The hotel was up a rather steep hill which was trying while carrying luggage but once divested of the load, it was very nice, clean and quiet, good location to local shops and restaurants.

The hill, of course! Couldn't be helped.

Coffee-not the best quality, I would like to have more variety in fresh fruits and vegetables on the breakfast menu, Shower handle didn’t work at all

The room was great. Everything we needed was there. Breakfast was the best. We also requested a packed lunch as we were going on a boat ride. The request was met and fulfilled with more than we were expecting. The boat was selling food , but what we got packed was just great . More value than the money we paid.

Could not get the room cool enough, and could not open the window. The control of the lights in the room was tricky.
