Hotel Christiania Teater

Hotel is in good location and very central. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is very good with a wide variety of choice. My boyfriend had an early flight and they prepared a breakfast to go for him. Facilities are overall good.

We were the last to arrive and I think were given an access room which was large (not a problem) but the bathroom was a bit annoying as water got everywhere when you showered and also in places the room was a little tired. We were internal facing onto a courtyard but I know others we stayed with had issues because there is a tent nightclub that stays open until morning hours across the square which played very very loud music and gave them trouble sleeping.

Very slow and old lift, that gives a bad impression of the hotel - while the rest is actually good. A bit a refurbishing of rooms needed as well

The location was very good. The staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and they even packed up a breakfast for us on the last day as we had an extremely early train reservation. The bar area was nice.

While the room was nicely decorated and quite large, it didn't really have a very cozy feeling. There was one small window so the place was dark, and the lighting (especially in the bathroom) was not good at all. It felt a little stiff. I actually would not stay at this hotel again because of this one issue.

The Hotel is undergoing some renovations, despite that it has been kept well. There were some basic amenities missing and while the staff was very cheerful and helpful but they were constrained due to availability of amenities. The breakfast spread was amazing, fresh orange juice machine, excellent coffee and very attentive and helpful staff. The location is ecellent, walkable and close to tram/metro/bus stops.

I loved everything about this hotel! The room, the location, the on site swanky bar! This place felt luxurious and quiet. It had velvet couches in halls encouraging a relaxing read or work from computer space. I wouldn’t go anywhere else if we come back to Oslo.

The showers open concept causes the floors to get wet in entire bathroom. No USB outlets either. This is me being really critical though. This hotel was amazing!

Fabulous hotel, looks amazing, very creative interior and accessories, loved it! They have a bar (much fun to have a drink there) and a restaurant where they both serve dinner and breakfast (last one is a buffet). Breakfast has everything you can wish for. Room is very spacious and comfortable. Staff is very polite and helpful. If you are looking for a place to stay in Oslo, choose this hotel.

I was disappointed by the number of small little things that pull the hotel down vs. expectations and image they want to convey. - Restaurants were closed - No sauna - Noisy rooms - the doors bang - Very slow lifts - Cleaning stuff / laundry left in the corridors by my room in the evening, with cleaning staff starting noisily at 7:30 in the morning with vacuuming... - A general air of trying to be hip but with too many snags

The breakfasts were excellent as was the room with windows you could open. Great location for exploring on foot.

Unfortunately the room we had faced the street which meant there was a lot of nightlife sound coming in. If that's not your scene or you're a light sleeper we'd suggest a room at the back.

Great hotel, super confirmable bed and one full duvet not two which I hate. Breakfast was very varied and really good and healthy too Really nice and lively lounge very trendy and on a great square.

Maybe if there was a gyn in house would be great though they would give you a voucher for a nearby Gym which I did not have to use as I checked in 11pm and left 8:30am.

it was pretty noisy at night-there was a dance club that was very popular and played loud music until 3 am every night. The location is amazing, though, so comes with the territory.
