Front desk staff was so lovely - especially Petter! The breakfast was also amazing with so many options. Hotel was VERY clean. The room had a nice view and provided us with all of the essentials needed to make the stay comfortable.

The only downside was on the morning of our departure we had asked the front desk agent to call us a taxi as we didn't see any outside. We were heading to Oslo S Train Station. We got in the taxi and paid the driver in cash upon arrival to the train station. The driver handed us back change of kr. 50.00. We went to use it in the train station to buy water and the cashier said this was old money that hasn't been used in Norway in 3 years. It is awful that a taxi driver would do this to two younger tourist girls, we felt super violated. It is also concerning that the hotel would partner with this taxi company.

I had a lovely time, and would recommend it! The hotel was a great base for a city break, as there are loads of interesting sights and attractions within 10-15mins walking. Public transport is really close by, including the trains to the airport. The room itself was cosy and well-equipped: the bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean, and the storage space was plenty for my things. Breakfast in the morning was a wide range of both continental style and hot food - I would recommend going earlier to get a good seat and avoid queues. Check in/out were both quick and easy, and the staff were very helpful. Overall, a great stay!

Nice clean and quiet room. Excellent central location just around the corner from the parliament buildings and not far from the Royal Palace. Superb breakfast with everything you could need for a good start to the day. On our first night we ate at the hotel restaurant and had an excellent meal. Best to book in advance as we had to wait without a reservation. I recommend the meatballs!

Not much space to hang clothes in the room especially as we were staying for four nights. There were no drawers so we had to use our suitcases. Breakfast was very busy and at peak times it was difficult to find seating. To be fair there is a notice in the lifts explaining the best times for breakfast and that it is busy after 08:30.

The hotel is very centrally located, close to the main market street and several restaurants and bars. The rooms were quite comfy and quite. The breakfast was excellent, great variety and tasty.

On the first night when I returned from my business meeting and a walk around town at 11 pm, there was no warm/hot water in my room. When I asked for help from the reception, the girl at the reception at that time, didn't really care much, and wasn't really willing to help, just saying "there is nothing I can do now, we will look at it tomorrow". So after waking up at 5 am, to catch a 4 hour flight to Oslo, being in a business meeting all day, I couldn't take a shower! I get it that there is not much she could have done at 11 at night, but she could have at least tried to show she cared. Thankfully the reception manager the next day was very understanding and did everything he could to resolve the issue, ending up in changing my room.

The hotel is clean and pleasant. All the staff are kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is fantastic. It was easy to go to tourist attraction on foot. The favourite thing during my stay was breakfast. There are diverse options to eat. I really enjoy eating delicious fresh salmon and shrimps. Also, experiencing brown cheese was also amazing.

The only bad thing during my stay was a really poor wifi connection. I wasn't able to play Youtube videos properly with the poor wifi connection. The wifi only works for loading webpages, searing on Google and using Google map. It was technically functional but it could be improved.

Breakfast was absolutely fabulous with a wide selection across the buffet - cooked breakfast, cold meats, smoked salmon, selection of cheeses, fruit, cereal, juices and more. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. The cleaner we had for our room was so friendly and very thorough. He went above and beyond and made us feel really looked after. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Superb location for sightseeing round Oslo - one minute from a tram stop!

We were unlucky for a few nights with noisy guests in the next room but that wasn't the fault of the hotel - just thin walls in the family rooms I guess. Breakfast could get very busy around 9am but the hotel do warn you about this. Not enough tea and coffee in the room but there was more in the foyer if you needed it.

The hotel has excellent location. It's a 10-15min walk to the port and city center and major atractions. There's public transportation available right across the street which is great. This was the biggest advantage for us, since we wanted to explore the city by walking and the hotel is on a quiter area but really close to most things you want to see in Oslo. The staff was very friendly and helpful all the time and offered great advice. It was nice that we could leave some luggage after checking out since our plane left later in the day and we still had a few hours to go around the city and we didn't have to carry our backpack. Breakfast was great, as there was a big variety to choose from. It also had some vegan friendly options which is appreciated. The eggs were really tasty, as well as all the other cold cuts and pastries they served. The coffee was not the best, but there's another espresso machine in the lobby so that is not an issue. :) The restaurant is also open outside of the breakfast hours and they have a great selection of local and international dishes that were quite tasty. I would recommend the restaurant as well. The room was spacious, had everything you may need for a couple of days and very clean. The mattress and pillows were really comfortable and you can ask them to change your sheets, clean and bring new towels every day, which is a nice touch. All in all, it was a great experience and we'll probably be back when we return to Oslo.

It's a 3 star hotel and so it's normal to have a few details that show its age and the rating, but nothing that could be classified as a major issue. The only thing we noticed was some small stain on the curtain and some scratches on the toilet seat cover. Again, nothing too major and didn't make us feel unsafe or posed any big issue. :)

Great breakfast, available from 6-ish till 10. 5. Staff helpful and concise/quick. 6. Clean 7. Bathtub 🛀 is always a plus for me!

Really have to be picky to find something negative here, as everything was quite ok. The gin tonics from reception were a tad expensive (yea it's Oslo!), there was too little ice and too much tonic. (Not blaming the reception stadd, just to be clear! They're not really trained to be barmen). It was a premium gin too, so I would have rather had a small can of tonic served separately (rather than having the drink.served with too much tonic and sort of waste the premium quality gin). Could save time for staff too to just give a small can separately! Not a big issue anyway, it was a hard pick to find something "negative"!

Location is centrally located to most of Oslo's highlights via foot or via local transportation. Room size is fine for Nordic standard I guess Breakfast plentiful and lots of choices Staff not very knowledgeable about things. We went to another hotel where the concergie knew everything and this is a kind of service that a hotel should be able to provide as well. Would be nice to know about transportation times and availability ......after all it is about hospitality Good hotel choice

Staff is a bit rigid. unfortunately, we had to ask about the room location with pros and cons and we unfortunately made the wrong decision since we chose the room on the side of the street which was very noisy - do not choose room on the side of the street - unable to comment on the other rooms

Very good hotel located in the city center. Oslo is not big but it is worth paying extra to have access to each of the major tourist attractions in 10 to 15 minutes by foot. The hotel was clean, the service was nice, the room for two people was small, but we didn't spend much time there. The breakfasts were tasty. Coffee was available but not from the machine. Internet wifi at the level of 15 Mbps. There is an "old" restaurant (Kraffistova) next to/in the hotel with great Norwegian-style dinner dishes - we recommend it . You can also take advantage of a discount on the Oslo Pass.

The bathroom needs small refreshing.
